"Great quality and stylish design"

Over the past year we have bought the Earnshaw Chaise sofa and the Henry armchair and love them both! The quality is fantastic and clear to see, especially compared to some of the big online furniture retailers whose showroom examples seemed pretty low quality. The fabric is hard wearing and easy to clean, which is a bonus with kids! Both of these pieces make a stylish design statement in our home and we get lots of compliments on them.

We received excellent advice from the friendly showroom staff and the delivery was seamless. Everyone that visits our home absolutely loves our new Henry armchair, it's so comfortable! Would definitely recommend!

We brought a beautiful Henry chair earlier this year - the team who delivered it were really friendly and considerate. The chair is totally gorgeous, amazing Italian velvet. It's so cosy and large, almost fitting 2 of us in it!

"Great family sofas"

We ordered two Cartwright sofas from Arlo & Jacob - they are so comfortable. Now there is no arguing about who gets to lie out as there is enough room for the whole family. The customer service team were great at helping us choose our fabrics. Thoroughly recommend Arlo & Jacob for anyone on the hunt for a sofa.

"Avoid this company at all costs"

Avoid this company at all costs. Appears to be a higher end retailer but the sofas are less comfortable than DFS whilst being twice the price. Ours started off ok (Henry sofa) but in a few months we were just sitting on the sofa base. We contacted Arlo and Jacob who said it is not a manufacturing fault so we could buy new cushions at our own expense! This is in fact a breach of the Consumer Rights Act as goods are expected to last a reasonable length of time. Before the lockdown I spoke to Trading Standard who agreed with me so I will be pursuing this further, despite the fact Arlo and Jacob are now ignoring all my correspondence. Do not buy a sofa from here, they are low quality, high cost and the customer service (which seems excellent during the sales process) is appalling post sales.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. We have bought sofa’s in the past from SOFA.COM who are an amazing company from quality of sofas to customer care so would recommend anyone considering this company to go their instead. It has been 5 months since we ordered a sofa from Arlo & Jacob, it arrived with issues with the fabric, marks, fine lines due to an issue with the fabric, we even had the tool used to fit the fabric left inside the couch so it rattles and pokes out of the back, yes you hear me right. We have covered it with a throw from day 1 as it is so awful. Our initial complaint at least got acknowledged, we were told it would be repaired and an engineer would attend - they did and filed a report to say it needed re-upholstering, a brand new sofa needs this. Since then I have had nothing - no re-upholstering, no contact, no engineer visit, nothing from Arlo & Jacob. I even lodged a formal complaint on the 13/3/2020 - that has been totally ignored. IT IS REALLY THE WORST COMPANY. We did the whole visiting a showroom, we went to Harrogate, it sucks you in with a nice shop and sales staff. Once you part with your money your customer journey ends and the quality of Sofa nothing like the images. The fabric is loose and crinkles which if you wanted that look - an Argos sofa will do it. Ours is marked as fabric defective. I am about to commence small claims proceedings should a response not be received in 7 days. So take my warning and stay away from these guys.

Don’t buy a sofa from this place. I regret not having read the reviews. We bought the Jackson and within one month it looked like it was a few years old. We asked them to come and see it and they said it is meant to look like this...the seat cushion flops so much you feel like you are sitting on the frame. We were told someone would call us after the home visit. Nothing. Steer clear from this company and their crummy sofas.
