"Failed delivery for Christmas Eve"
What a shame.. very very disappointed...Ordered on the 8th December a delivery of Turkey Crown and Ham for 21st December for a family function.. had to chase Meatbox on delivery on 21st as no communication on delivery. Was told would be dispatched following day (22nd to arrive 23rd) due to postal strikes.
Still no update on either 22nd or 23rd without chasing Jesse at sales who repeatedly informed would be delivered next day (22nd and then 23rd). Finally asked to cancel order on 23rd as food was required for 24th (3 days after requested delivery) and was told to buy food as a precaution if delivery didn't arrive followed by automatic email response from again asking to cancel and refund.
Seems they need to perfect sales team and shipping because this can serious affect repeat custom.
Update*** Further to the response by Meatbox, I ordered on your website on 8th December 2022 - order number 20246. to discuss this offline please respond to my emails sent to your sales team

Arrived on the due date - although the courier timing estimate (from the courier) was miles out! Was still well frozen on arrival (although I hadn't read the website properly so wasn't expecting a frozen joint).
Turkey joint cooked well and was very tasty. Pigs in blankets were especially good.

I have had meat product from Meatbox before and had no complaints whatsoever which prompted me to order the "Dry Aged Rib of Beef Trimmed" roasting joint from them for the family Xmas meal. What a disappointment, every bite, it seemed had gristle/connective tissue; guests apologized for taking it out of their mouths. Meat however was tasty and tender.

Oh! I can assure you, I did order from you, and no-one else. My Order number is 20783, ordered on 13/12/2022, under my given name.
Not only do you need to try a lot harder with the quality of your meat product but, you could have EASILY found my name, if you wanted to, that is. I copied the description of what I ordered, from your website.
I shall not purchase from you again given the inaccurate abdication of your responsibility. Shame on you.

The products are amazing. I had family over for dinner after Christmas and they all said how tasty the chicken and pigs in blankets were. This is the second time I’ve used the company first time during lockdown. Everything is perfectly sealed and can be popped straight into the freezer . I was also impressed with the prices of everything I did not feel I had been overcharged just because it was fresh produce. Will definitely use again.
