Great experience with the initial point of contact and quote. Amazing packing and removals over the 2 day pack, and great communications during the wait to complete. One slight criticism was that we had a lot more stuff for the guys to pack up which I would have hoped would have been identified in the quote. This led to me feeling really bad for the guys doing the unending packing, though I’m sure it’s common, I wish it could have been avoided.

Great removals service into store. Friendly efficient team, fed with doughnuts. Some phased looks at the two large garden pot plants discussed with the guy who visited and quoted. Some lack of clarity as to whether or not they’d be dead by the time I move into my new house! Didn’t get the idea from the team that they’d necessarily be watered unless they were washing a van nearby! I figure the memory of the doughnuts might count for something in this regard! Altogether a great service so far.

Please for your own sake do NOT use this company, there are plenty of other well respected removals companies out there. We are paying the price of 4 years in storage and subsequent delivery to our new home. The claims service is an absolute joke and the removal men completely ignored our pleas to put on shoe covers provided before going on the carpet. We had to have 3 rooms completely replaced and are out if pocket by thousands. They offered £100 as a gesture if goodwill. Please trust me that there are better ways to move house or store your items.

"Crap customer service"

I had booked Armishaws to carry out my removals and they had taken a deposit. We had agreed a date which incidentally has not changed in any way. 3 weeks before the move I receive an email from them saying my move had been cancelled by them because someone else had taken my slot and that they were returning my deposit. I later found out that the Road-train that I had booked had crashed on the M3 and was a right-off along with its contents. If they had told the truth then I may have been a bit more sympathetic but I had to get someone else at short notice who is at least professional. So if you want to use a company that is Unreliable, Cancels at the last minute for no good reason and expects that they will control the completion dates of the chain of house sales then YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I make no comment about their moving abilities as I never got that far. Their customer service is crap!!!!!!!.
