"Highly recommend for helpfulness and good value"

I am about to leave for my third trip with spa dreams (to Concordia Spa hotel in Oberstaufen, Germany, which I highly recommend to anyone looking for a low key, healthy holiday with good food and breathtaking scenery nearby, plus nice range of activities). I have always booked with Frasse Carlson in the UK and he has been very helpful and on the ball and helped me out at short notice since 3rd July to get me trip organised for today.

"Where do I begin RELAXING COMPAGNY? NGO"

Where do I begin. If you want to have a spa experience you should not book here.

Spa means relax to me.
I paid and after a week (while I'm already on my vacation in Asia) Spa dreams shows that they have no payment.
I'm in Azie and they ask me for a screenshot. I indicate that I have paid with all my details. And sent via their own IDEAL link.
Then they keep asking for a screenshot. When I send these they still can't confirm anything and I have to wonder if I've thrown away hundreds of euros.

Then the employee also notices that they have a malfunction, the payment reminder is automatic. Asking if I can understand that it will take another week! NICE SPA AND RELAX moment and vibe? NOT! AWFULL

"Terrible customer service."

I booked a SpaDreams slimming week at the Hotel Prezident in Karlovy Vary. I thought I had booked airport pick up on arrival but wasn't sure and the paperwork wasn't clear. So I called SpaDreams. The number they list for customer service pre-trip does not work. I left a message on the main number but no-one ever called me back. I emailed them but no-one replied. Shocking service. I took a bus from the airport which was quite easy but I still don't know whether I paid for pick-up. The hotel was very pleasant but many of the included spa 'treatments' are fairly pointless. A 'mud pack' turned out to be some warm mud sealed in a small plastic bag applied to one thigh. A 'pearl bath' was a regular jacuzzi bath. I had a consultation with the dietician who arranged slimming food for me with the kitchen. Despite our agreement that I wanted to be carbohydrate free, there was rice or potato with every meal. But the pool is nice, though not huge, and the sauna and steam rooms are very good. The masseurs are also very good. The bedrooms are a decent size and very comfortable. The staff were generally helpful though quite brusque in the spa. Even with the plane fare, it cost a lot less than an English equivalent so I have no problem with the value for money. I might even go back but not for the slimming week and with my expectations adjusted.

"Beware problems. There is absolutely no flexibility"

I booked a Christmas holiday in Berlin after having a voucher for a year for the deposit of a Christmas holiday in 2020 which was cancelled because of covid. I specifically asked what would happen in the event of a cancellation and was told I'd get my money back. I didn't. This year I was more hopeful and used the voucher + for this trip but just before Christmas omicron surfaced. People were being urged by the governments of France, where I live, and Germany to be responsible and not travel, entry from France was classed as high risk and because of the German policy of 2g+ I had to book a test for Christmas Day to have the 2 included spa treatments. I decided this was not the fun Christmas holiday I had in mind and tried to defer until a later date. I was told I'd have to cancel and rebook and would lose 70% of the price as per the t&cs. I protested and was told there were no government restrictions, my responsibility didn't count and I should look at the commercial point of view. There were 2 other elements of my trip, flights and another hotel, both successfully changed with no fee and both with exactly the same commercial point of view under these circumstances. The other hotel has now gained 2 extra nights for my later trip because of their flexibility. I do not recommend SpaDreams and will never ever book a holiday with them again.
THERE IS ALSO AN UNREASONABLE DELAY - 2 WEEKS 2 DAYS AND COUNTING - GETTING BACK THE 30% YOU ARE ENTITLED TO

"Sub-par customer service"

Sub-par customer service. Pick-up I ordered was not organised, communication via email slow, customer support number for the UK included on documents not valid so that I had to call a number in Germany.

"No customer service!!"

I went into toxic shock at one of their expensive Ayurvedic retreats in Sri Lanka caused by a herb they had given me for a body purging which I specifically said that I didn’t want or need.
My bp went from 115 to 175 in less than an hour. I had an excruciating pain in my heart and left shoulder. My head felt as though it would explode. My feet were white and numb.
It ruined the next 2 weeks of my tour/stay in Sri Lanka and I am still not fully recovered.
On my return I gave them feedback. No one contacted me!
I emailed them again. Still no reply.
I have tried emailing several of the management but the emails are blocked, apparently I am blacklisted 😳
SpaDreams seem to be only interested in the money not the client.
No customer service.
I definitely would not recommend this company.

"Can't be trusted!"

Customer support promised a rebooking voucher given forced cancellation due to the global pandemic. Then proceeded to ignore 8 straight emails. Complete radio silence and basically stole our money after promising in writing to offer a voucher. Terrible!

BE CAREFUL - NACIĄGACZE. They take money without any help. Write to any hotel from their offer directly and you will get a much better offer.
