They are helpful, super efficient, and fun to work with. Queries are answered quickly, and the whole process of quoting and switching services for the customer is professional and slick.

Mathew Fin who looks after our accounts I cannot fault him.

"Initially I was very happy with UAC but......"

Initially I was very happy with UAC. I was proactively approached at the end of Summer 2021 to advise that costs for energy were spiking and it would be wise to lock in another deal. This advice was gratefully received & credit for the proactivity to help my small business. In November 2021, my current supplier called me to say I was coming to the end of my fixed term & tried to sell me another fixed term. I thanked them but advised that my broker (UAC) had it hand (I'd signed and returned the contract and other docs). However I checked in with UAC who told me not to worry, all was good. In February 2022 (after end of fixed term), I received an email asking me to call them. I called instantly knowing something was up. Due to a serious procedural failure on their side, the contract hadn't been successfully lodged. I was advised to call my supplier to ask them if they could put me on another fixed tariff and backdate. Unfortunately I cant get through to them (in between running my own business 7 days a week) as their lines divert to the domestic side. In fairness, I've verbally been told that I will not be out of pocket but am now stressing about the costs, frustratingly having to send emails and make calls which they should have done. EDIT: I have now received written confirmation from Matthew that UAC will cover the additional costs my business will bear for the period in question. To his & the UAC team's credit, they have re-iterated that they take full responsibility for the error & will use it to strengthen their processes in future. I have therefore decided to change this to a 4 star review.
