The package was inadequately protected with bubble wrap or similar, such that one bulb arrived shattered.
It is fair to say that this was replaced without a murmur, but the replacement was lucky to survive as the small container was able to move around in the postal container with little cushioning wrap.
So lessons are not learnt I believe
