"I really enjoyed my pre-medical Project London"

I really enjoyed my pre-medical placement at Project London. We were not only able to learn a lot of new information but also get hands-on experience. The staff was very attentive and helpful at all times. I was inpressed that even though my flight left really early in the morning, I was accompanied to the airport by taxi. The evening activities were allowed us to explore London and the schedule of the days in general was very well planned. I was very impressed as well with the overall organization of the trip. The only thing that I found negative was the accomodation. The hostel we stayed in had small, closed rooms with 5 people. For the rest, I can say it was a very positive experience which i would definitely recommend to other people.

"Project London"

I went to Project London and it's honestly the best thing I could have done in terms of getting a full insight of life as a medical student and doctor! It also made me realise that this is definitely the path I want to take - if anyone's still unsure, I highly recommend this course. A lot of the key skills of being a doctor were put into practice as well as the extremely helpful mock interviews.

It's also a chance to meet new people from around the world and get to know what it's like to work in a team with strangers. There was a perfect balance of teaching/simulation sessions and range of outdoor activities suited for everyone.

I only wish the duration of the course could have lasted longer, although I'm still surprised at how much I was able to learn within one week.

"Unforgettable experience"

Project London was one of the best programmes I have joined in my life. The lessons were informative, the simulations were realistic and exciting, and I experienced what a doctor's life is like. The non-medical part of the project was also enjoyable: I made a few new friends, and learnt a lot about London.

"Medical Project: London"

I took the London Medical placement, and it gave me an understanding of what a doctor would do to diagnose and treat patients, with hands on simulation experience, as well as other jobs a doctor would have to do.
They also gave good advice on interviews, which would help immensely when being interviewed by universities, and serve as good preparation.
In general, I learnt an incredible amount of medical knowledge from the week, and would strongly recommend anyone else to take this placement if they are thinking about applying to medicine.

"I would recommend this experience to anyone!"

This has been an excellent week during which I learnt an abundant amount of medical information, worked with expert doctors and gained a much clearer perspective into a doctor's work life. All the lessons were extremely engaging and interesting, and ultimately boosted my desire to become a doctor! The discussions with the staff and the medical students allowed me to understand the interview process of top-notch medical universities in more depth, as well as what they expect from us. Besides the theory and practice sessions, I would recommend this course to anyone interested in studying medicine in the UK, because you're surrounded by students like you who are all interested in medicine, creating a more fun experience overall.

"One of the most rewarding experiences…"

One of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever been on, a definite must for anyone considering studying medicine at university! Extremely friendly and accommodating staff and very knowledgable doctors make the whole week very enjoyable, especially combined with the leisure activities that have been planned, which allow you to fully immerse yourself in the London environment and encourage you to build on friendships with the other students. The simulation suite gives a first hand look into real life situations in the emergency room that you would not be able to experience any other way as a pre med student. Could not recommend the experience more!

"I had the best time ever!"

I had the best time ever in Project London! The atmosphere was amazing and all the staff were super friendly. The simulations were extremely helpful, and there were a wide range of different scenarios. I would honestly recommend this to anyone who is either already sure about medicine, or anyone who isn't quite sure yet. Either way, you get so much out the experience and you meet so many amazing new people and friends!

"Just do it"

Honestly, if you want to become a doctor but just need an extra kick to ensure your decision, just join Medical Projects.
I joint Project Kilimanjaro and London, which is a good combo. Why? Well, because Project London is the latest of all. Unlike others which are based on doctors shadowing, Project London is a simulation experience and allows you to practise medicine without killing people; I killed mine with penicillin overdose, but doesn't matter, that's how you learn.
Project Kilimanjaro is fantastic, the view the mountain outside the hospital did 50% of the curing to the patients. Each doctor there had very different personality which means I gained different point of views and interpretations from different doctors about different cases. The trip made me realised how dynamic the field of medicine can be.
The experiences gave me quite a clear view of what it takes to become part of the medical society. The human aspect of medicine they emphasised on is the greatest feature, because at the end of the day we are working with people not papers and syringes.
