Ordered a Nuaire Drimaster from Permagard after a lengthy conversation re the need to solve moisture problems in a Victorian terrace home. In retrospect, they weren't that knowledgeable and seemed to mostly interested in pushing a product by using seller speak. What wasn't mentioned was the possible issue with lath and plaster ceilings. What also wasn't mentioned was the non-acceptance of returns after 21 days.
I'd been unable to follow through with the fitting for a few months, only to find the 3 contractors I asked to price said the ceiling may cause a problem. Another said they had fitted several and even though they made a difference in most houses, that difference was negligible.
I phoned Permagard to see what could be done and how to return, expecting to lose some money only to find they won't accept this return under any circumstances.
I feel foolish, very upset and gutted at the lost money.

"Good products, good service"
They stock some of the best quality products, in my case Lignum Pro, this covers 100m2 rather than the solvent based stuff you get at B&Q. Also when the courier company started to mess us about they resolved the situation quickly and efficiently. Get customer service from Kate.

Do not buy from these people they sent me the parcel by DPD, but they never sent me tracking information, and then DPD came to photograph my door, they claim that they left a card and two texts on my phone number that I never received after arguing with their sales manager, I found out where the parcel is if I hadn't been interested they were going to send it back and Permagard would take 15% of the money for not accepting the parcel which I didn't know where it was anyway. And this crappy service cost me £11 to get it from the collection point when I have paid for it to be delivered to my address!

"Great Advice"
Contacted for advice on insulating my shed floor, Sam got back to me extremely quickly, was very helpful and sent links to the products I required.
Yet to receive the goods so can't comment on quality, but service was great.
Carriage charge was slightly higher than average, although the cost of the products were slightly less than others, so balances itself out.

Excellent company to deal with. Very helpful and friendly on the phone. Technical department answered my questions and ordering was very easy. The standard delivery charge is nearly £10 but I'm ok with this as live in a postcode that often gets mistakenly classified as 'Highlands and Islands' and charged a lot more! This time I was charged the standard amount so despite the fact I think Delivery could be a little less, I'm happy to pay it.
Update: Had a bit of a problem applying the product, but again the technical team were very helpful. Provided lots of useful advice and even sent some more product free of charge so I could complete the job. Really can't fault this company!

Bought the Tanking Slurry and Plaster had no idea what I was doing, but their customer service explained how to apply and answered all my questions.

"Cavity drainage membrane"
I bought the cavity drainage material and installed it in our cellar which had a small stream running though it when it rained and was not useful for anything due to the damp environment. Having installed the drain membrane with the brick plugs and sealed the joins with the butyl tape the whole cellar is now dry, the water still runs under the membrane but the atmosphere is now dry and we have a space we can use.

"Keep away from these guys"
Keep away from these guys, they charge you £11 for a 1-3 days standard delivery service.
I'm purchasing a small parcel under 1Kg, I would suspect from experience the carrier won't charge more than £2.80.
I questioned their customer service department and they argued they were giving a premium service, really 1-3 days???
Completely ripping off your customers guys, not good. A lot of your competitors offer free delivery or a very small charge to cover carrier costs.
Saw this sort of thing in the early days of online shopping not now.

Unfortunately, although their Damp Proof paint appears to perform in terms of dampness the paint stains. Their literature states 'non-staining' which is one of the reasons I purchased. When I phoned up customer services virtually the first thing they said was that they should have had the 'non-staining' reference removed from their website last October.
Then over several e-mails they tried to make excuses for the staining and mainly blaming UV light when the painted areas are indoors with a low natural light.
As this sales 'con' has cost me a lot of money to rectify I am going to take them to court.

I actually ordered the wrong product but Permaguard were very helpful. They gave me advice on the correct product and, although I had to pay for the return of the products ordered, they issued a full refund. I will buy from them again.
