"Real honor to be a member of the society"
Being invited to an honor society is a special recognition that should be accepted if possible. There are only a few chances in your lifetime to receive this recognition, and it is something that can last a lifetime on your resume and list of accomplishments. The networking opportunities with other students, combined with the member benefits and on campus recognition make it an easy decision to join this society. The main benefits I have enjoyed so far is the restaurant discount, the job board and the member honor cord for graduation. I am looking forward to being a member of this society as an alumni as well. If invited, I recommend that you do join.

"Member society review"
The main benefit from joining that I have received is the career guides. Those actually are expensive, so being able to access them as a member made the membership worthwhile. I've been invited to join honor societies in the past, but have never joined because they all cost money. The main reason I did join this one though is because of all the perks you receive when joining. Being an Honorsociety.org member actually has paid for itself and that's why all in all I like being a part of this organization.

"WARNING: Do not trust honorsociety.org!"
Just a few days after receiving my notice that I had been placed on academic probation, I received an email from honorsociety.org saying that I was accepted to their "honor society." I gave it some time before I decided to join, and I joined under the assumption that they had not yet received notice that my GPA was 0.882 and were accepting me on the basis of my high school GPA (3.559) and the fact that I had been accepted to another honor society on campus (which I had joined during the semester, so the only GPA information that was available then was my high school GPA, as it was my first semester of college).
However, I found out a few days after joining that honorsociety.org is not affiliated with my university, nor any other university, nor the Association of College Honor Societies. In response, I requested my account cancelled and my money back. The next day, I received an email saying that my account cancellation and refund had been processed and I will not be charged again. I am holding them to that and if they make any charges to my account, I will have to contact my bank about it.
There have been other complaints about honorsociety.org charging accounts without notice or permission, and if that happens to me even though I already cancelled my honorsociety.org account, I will contact my bank, and I suggest that anyone else who gets wrongly charged as such, whether currently members or cancelled, contacts their banks and that anyone who is currently a member cancels. For everyone else, if you receive an acceptance letter from honorsociety.org, IGNORE the email and DO NOT give them your credit/debit card information.

"HonorSociety.org Review"
Membership in this society has been worth it for me. I just bought my textbooks, and the textbook discount has saved me over $50 this semester alone. I'm also using the career insider resources to craft my cover letter and resume for marketing internships. The access to academic tools and resources that HonorSociety.org provide are very helpful, and that's why I do recommend joining.

"honorsociety.org has been nothing but beneficial for me!"
I have only been a member since this past summer 2013. I have earned a scholarship from the honorsociety.org, gained access to other outside scholarships and other benefits. I haven't explored all the avenues that this honor society has, but I do look forward to it!

"If invited, must join."
I'm very happy to have joined. The recognition has proved to be invaluable on my resume and during my internship search. HonorSociety.org is worth it just for the access to Vault.com, which helped me land my current summer internship. Thank you.
