They were good and responsive to emails when had to update quantity. Unfortunately they didn’t look at my last email updating more boxes and stuff so the movers were quick to note it was more than what they saw and then seemed upset. They moved pretty slow getting out of the apartment.

Piece Of Cake Moving made it so simple and easy that I was actually suspicious at first! They were flexible when we needed to reschedule, the moving team was on time the day of the move, they hustled & worked hard- I didn’t have to manage the movers, they were competent and professional.
This moving company has their act together- highly recommend we will never use another mover.

"Total Scam – Stay Away from This Company"

I’ve never been so furious with a so-called “professional” service. Piece of Cake Moving & Storage is an absolute nightmare. Everything started off great — I got a quote for moving just two items, a fridge and a stove, and even called to double-check the price. I gave them the dimensions, paid the deposit, and thought I was all set.

Then the crew shows up completely unprepared and tells me they can’t move the items. Seriously? That’s the one job I hired you to do. Instead of owning the mistake, they had customer service call me and hit me with an extra $360 charge for “heavy items” — the same fridge and stove that were clearly listed in the contract! It’s beyond shady.

I had to pay more for a second crew to come out, and was told the final payment would be due at drop-off location. But guess what? The new crew shows up and demands payment before loading anything to the truck.

This company is a disorganized mess. Zero communication, no accountability, and they nickel-and-dime you at every turn AFTER you book. I wouldn’t trust them to move a cardboard box. Save yourself the stress — do NOT use this company.
