I obtained my 107 license while working for a surveying company that had drones but never got a chance to use it. Now I work for a company that has never used them but wants to start a program. Since I'm the guy with the license, it was decided that I needed to figure out how to successfully integrate drones into our firm. The Pilot Institute drone courses have been a tremendous help in understanding the capabilities and limitations of using drones for surveying. They have also informed me about different apps and programs I could use when collecting and processing information. I still need to get some hands on experience but I would absolutely recommend this as a starting point to any one who wants to begin using drones but don't know where to start.
