Cabins for YOU

"To whom it may concern,"
To whom it may concern,
My name is Scott Lashley. This letter is simply meant to be a complimentary review of one of the agents that assisted me in my rental reservations at one of the cabins reserved for later this month. I have rented cabins over the years in Gatlinburg through this company and have always had a productive and rewarding experience.
In this review I am focusing on the agent that assisted me in the hopes that she would at least be recognized in some capacity for her knowledge, professionalism, and guidance during my rental process. Her name is Amanda. This rental is a BD surprise for a member of a group of my friends and as we know at times surprises do not always work as we plan so my apprehension of making this reservation was already heightened. Ms. Amanda assisted me wonderfully through the process. I was at the time in a temporary financial predicament and even though Ms. Amanda did not know me at all, she took a chance with me for a couple of days until my finances readjusted themselves and I was able to pay the amount required in completion as I had promised her that I would. She did not have to take that chance with me, but she did, and for that I appreciate her efforts immensely.
Ms. Amanda also relayed to me any and all discounts, promotions, etc. that would benefit me, possibly save me some money, and help make my rental stay more rewarding and affordable. I purchased each of them, and in doing so it not only benefited myself and my guests during the trip, but also is a positive testament to her employer, Cabins For You, and highlighted the professional, high integrity, highly determined, extremely knowledgeable and compassionate personnel that the company employs. In my opinion Amanda should be recognized as such. It is for personnel like Ms. Amanda, as well as the overall cabin rental experiences that I have enjoyed thus far, that will maintain myself and others as repeat customers.

"Cabin renters beware"
Cabin renters beware! Many of you saw my post from last Sunday. We were originally booked in Bearfoot Inn in Chalet Village through Cabins for you. We used the number on the Chalet Village website to attempt to book and were transferred to Cabins for you. When we arrived on Saturday the 20th, we first noticed the couches and chairs were extremely worn. Then we noticed an eye on the stove top was bent up and unusable as well as damage to the pool table and cigarette butts on the bottom level porch. When we pulled the covers back on the bottom level king size bed we discovered one side of the bed was broken. At which point we started fully inspecting the cabin and noticed discolored ceilings in 2 of the 3 bathrooms but it was so late and we were exhausted from driving 11 hours we went to bed to figure out the situation the next morning. Upon waking up the next morning water was actively dripping from the ceiling on the bottom floor and the ceiling was wet in the main floor bathroom (yes I stood on the counter to touch it). We also noticed the lower level ceiling had orange staining, from previous water damage in a different spot. We contacted the office at 8am on the 21st when they opened, it took them until 4pm to tell us they were putting us in a different cabin but all of our complaints were normal wear because of us being inconvenienced. We had gotten a hotel room about 2pm just to make sure we had a place for the night. When we arrived at the new cabin on Sunday evening we discovered the third level was uncleaned, dirty sheets on the bed and towels in the bathroom. We reported it immediately Sunday evening, no one came to clean the third floor until Wednesday afternoon. All they offered us for this was our cleaning fee of $150 back nevermind we spent $3300 on the original cabin.

"My experience with Cabins for You…"
My experience with Cabins for You "Paradise Mountain Retreat beyond disappointing; it was a nightmare. The cabins, built just two years ago, proved to be unfit for even the slightest rainstorm. On the very first night of my stay, as rain fell outside, water began pouring into my room from the ceiling. Despite what the supervisor, Nichole, claimed, this was not an isolated incident. As someone staying on the lower level, I watched in horror as my belongings, including my commercial drone and accessories, were ruined before my eyes. Seeking assistance, I spoke with Nichole, only to be met with a shocking lack of accountability. Nichole coldly informed me that Cabins for You is not responsible for personal property damage in the event of fire or water.I was devastated. Not only was my stay ruined, but I was also left to deal with the aftermath of the damage on my own. To add insult to injury, their initial offer of a $600 voucher to come back and stay with them was insulting. But it didn't end there. They then took back that voucher and offered one for $1200, clearly a move to benefit themselves rather than rectify the situation for me. To make matters worse, they also offered to move us to an 8-bedroom cabin from the 12-bedroom one we had booked, despite knowing it was too small for our needs.I'm writing this review to warn others about the careless and profit-driven nature of Cabins for You. It's clear that they care more about money than the well-being and satisfaction of their customers. And this problem can't be fixed overnight. Save yourself the heartache and avoid Cabins for You at all costs.

"Review of The Cabin in Chiang Mai "
The entire organizational structure of the clinical, medical, nursing, support team, engineering, ground and gardening team and maid service, the restaurant team and the various buffet meals were an amazing help for my medically challenging process!
The clinical component of The Cabin well-structured and highly professional. This feedback comes from my thirty-five years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist working and managing various clinics in Washington D.C and South Africa.

"American Pride"
I believe it is crucial to bring attention to the issues encountered for the benefit of future guests and improvement opportunities.During our stay, we encountered several concerning issues that significantly impacted our experience. The claim of "hard" well water causing a yellow tint was not only inaccurate but also alarming. This water discoloration poses potential health risks, and it was disconcerting to find no prior warning in the property description. Transparent communication is key, and the lack thereof left us feeling misled.
Our health concerns extended beyond the water discoloration to the presence of mold in the showers, bathtubs, and peeling walls. Mold exposure is known to be a health hazard, and it is disappointing that the property was not in a satisfactory state upon our arrival, especially considering the cleaning fee charged.
Despite claims of cleanliness, visible staining in the showers and hot tub was evident, raising questions about the overall hygiene of the property. This, coupled with the lack of disclosure regarding these issues on the website, contributed to our dissatisfaction.
Upon reviewing the property listing, it is essential to highlight that there was no mention or representation of the problems we encountered – yellow water, mold, and staining. The lack of transparency has left us feeling deceived.
In light of these concerns, I feel compelled to share my experience with potential future guests. It is my hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for the property management to address these issues and improve overall guest satisfaction.

"Horrible experience"
Horrible experience! The "cabin" turned out to be a old apartment building, dingy at best. While it said twice in the listing it was a cabin and that we would have the "whole cabin" it was not. The "condo" itself was dirty, a diaper left from the last people on floor, chips in hot tub, and the last people's hair in tub, sink, and counters. The bed was so old I couldn't even find manufacturer information, horribly uncomfortable. The couches were ripped up and in terrible shape. Dirty dishes. Shower curtain covered in mildew. Tried calling, took 3 days to finally speak to a manager and they at first offered me 65 dollars, finally have back 100, not even enough to cover a 1 night stay. There is more, but I think you get the point, I'd suggest getting a cabin elsewhere, I've been coming to gatlinburg area for years and never had a company be so callous and a place in such poor shape, deplorable.

"Fantastic Company and Experience!"
In my experience, this company is one of the best cabin rental companies in The Smoky Mountains and Dollywood area! Stay anywhere in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. My cabin was updated, beautiful, and clean!!

"Terrible experience"
Terrible experience, not as described, unethical advertising - and overcharged due to 'contract' - will not recommend. Poor customer service. Locked out of our cabin, which was in major need of deep cleaning.
