Originally I tried to order these materials from Wickes locally -no delivery slots available! So I ordered from Build4less, cheaper than Wickes, everything delivered within days with very good communication. Very impressed, will use again.

I ordered what I required, which was listed as delivery 3 to 6 working days. It arrived in 2. I was not home when delivered, but it was left exactly where I had requested.
The Packaging was excellent.

I ordered my goods back in May - at the height of the lockdown and I thought the service was very good. I ordered a load of insulation and also some OSB3. About a week after I ordered I hadn't had a delivery date confirmed and so I enquired via email. An employee named Hayley confirmed they couldn't find a supplier for the OSB3. I got build4ess to remove it from the order (which they then refunded promptly) and the order duly arrived (from a local-ish supplier) about a week later. I also needed to ring them on the day of delivery and got straight through.
I thought the service was very good particularly given the supply problems going on at the time and other companies struggling to get stocks of insulation or massively increasing minimum order values.

"Order three items with a £50 delivery…"

Ordered three items with a £50 delivery price added which I was happy to pay. After contacting the company to chase up the order one item was delivered. Then chase them up again and they then decided not to supply the remaining item. I then received an invoice for £74 were £50 was the delivery charge. Under no circumstances would I order one with this rate for delivery. After posting the review the company contacted me and offer to reduce the delivery charge to £25.

After placing an order with this company they emailed to advise that the lead time on products was 3 weeks due to Covid-19 restrictions, I confirmed that I was happy to wait the three weeks for delivery.
After three weeks the company then emailed to inform me that their supplier was actually shut and they wouldn't now be able to deliver for another 7 weeks until the end of June!!!
Surely they'd have known this when I originally placed my order?
They then advised that they'd take 14 days to process my refund and then it would be another 14 days until it showed in my account!!!
I was not willing to fund their business for any longer and finally managed to get them to process the refund the same day.
