"Varis is a great place to stay"

Varis is a great place to stay, comfortable and spacious accommodation in a lovely location. Easy access to Skye over the bridge, a local well stocked shop and walks straight from the door.

This was the second time we’ve stayed at Varis. The location is excellent with fine views over the loch. Kintail and Skye are both close for the mountain walking. The house is clean, light and and airy. The bedrooms and bathrooms are excellent. The kitchen had all we needed. We did quite a lot of cooking. And we have booked it again for August.

This is a very easy review to write! Varis is without doubt the best accommodation we have stayed in in Scotland and we have been visiting every year for 30+ years. Everything you need is provided for you, the cottage is immaculate and well presented, warm and cosy with the most comfortable beds ever!! Situated in a perfect position, close to local amenities yet feeling totally secluded with lovely walks from the garden gate. The owners are helpful and available if needed and provide a wonderful welcome in their lovely cottage. I highly recommend Varis and would only ask that you appreciate your fortune in being able to stay there!

"Wonderful location and excellent accommodation"

Wonderful location and excellent cottage, warm comfortable and spacious. It’s very well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen plenty of cupboard space and two or three people can work together to prepare meals. Great for dogs we have two very large ones and the garden is large enough to let them play and run about. The cottage is very clean and the beds comfortable with lovely white linen and lots of wardrobe space.
Have booked this cottage 5 or 6 times now and thoroughly enjoyed every holiday even when it’s wet there are things to do locally and Skye is so near with all the beautiful mountains and beaches it offers
A treat to stay there.
