"Lessons with Ms. Nguyên and my experience with SVFF"

I recently started lessons with Cô Nguyên. I wanted to learn Vietnamese again so I can better communicate with my family. I appreciate that she also has family from southern Vietnam and Huế like I do, so she understands and can teach me words from both regions that I recognize. She is very friendly and patient with my learning ability. Even though my self-esteem makes me very nervous, Cô Nguyên is patient and let's me to try and figure it out for myself, but also helps me if I need it. I also enjoy her real life experiences she adds to the lessons making the learning more fun and relatable. I appreciate that she is catering to my social needs and provides me with real life conversation examples that I can learn and use in the future. I do highly recommend her if you also are interested in the Huế dialect as well.
The SVFF website is easy to navigate. The textbook and lessons are well organized and filled with many examples, including fun interactive quizzes and games. I do enjoy the challenge in them. I am motivated to learn more.

My review is for Phi and his team at SVFF. I've been a student for SVFF for over 3 years, and have had a great experience working with them to improve my Vietnamese from the southern accent. Being fairly busy with work, it's been great to have a flexible team and resources to learn at my pace and context. I recommend them greatly for all levels who are interested.

"Learning with Mr. Khánh Hưng and SVFF"

I started with SVFF in June of 2024, and have done eight lessons. I started at level 0 and learned to read, and I am now working through level 1.

Working with Hưng is great. We work through the material at the correct pace for me. Plus, he's fun to chat with and he is a great teacher.

As for the SVFF platform, that also works well. I have paid for my lessons with no problem, the textbook and activities are good, and everything uses the southern accent. Like many, I am frustrated when so many Vietnamese learning resources use the northern accent. It's nice to have a service that uses the Southern accent.

Lastly, the value is really great. The lessons are affordable, but you can tip too.

So far I am having nothing but good experiences with SVFF. It's great value for exactly what I needed.

"Wonderful lessons from Hữu Duyên from SVFF "

I wanted to learn the southern Vietnamese dialect to better connect with my community. I noticed that many resources online were in a northern accent.

I found SVFF through recommendations on Reddit and also saw some of their Youtube videos.

I have had a few lessons with Hữu Duyên from SVFF and have learnt a lot and gained lots more confidence in these lessons.

She is very patient with me and has always kept a positive attitude in her approach to teaching which I appreciate.

"Highly recommended"

I've been learning Vietnamese with Mr. Khánh Hưng and SVFF for over a year, and the overall experience has been fantastic. The one-on-one classes are quite affordable, and each lesson includes a variety of learning materials, such as listening, reading, and writing exercises. While the southern accent is still challenging to understand, I can definitely feel myself making progress.

I have been learning Vietnamese language for almost 4 months. So far the experience is great. My teacher Ms. Nguyen is resourceful and very considerate. She will design the lessons based on student's strength and interest, despite the textbook materials can be quite boring sometimes.

I have studied Vietnamese with SVFF for about one month now, and the overall experience is pretty good. In my opinion, their online textbooks are well structured and well made. They consist of many activities and exercises.

Currently, the SVFF app is not working yet but I hope that it will be available soon.

I am studying with cô Nguyên, she is energetic, funny sometimes, and passionate. I really enjoy studying Vietnamese with her.
