"The owner of for place is a jerk"

The owner of for place is a jerk! I'd call her something way worse if I could.

"I was over charged for the grooming of…"

I was over charged for the grooming of my cat, they groomed him wrongly and when i went back to correct it they have charged me again within one week i paid £180 in total, they havent even washed him the dirst time
Ut was their fault they haven’t listened to me for the first time and i have been told they will correct it
But they have charged me £80 instead of being for free as it was their mistake
And my cat seems in pain after he came back .im so disappointed.
When i said to her im not happy she didn’t seem to care although i was a loyal costumer for many years , it seems not they only care about money

"Great shop and lovely people."

I’ve taken my Chihuahuas here for years to have their nails cut and groomed recently our English Bulldog who won’t walk passes the shop until he sees Angela!
If you’re lucky she may have baked cakes the night before which she won’t let you leave until you have one.

"Hours for Grooming - Can't see inside their shop!"

I have been a client for some time. At the time of my dog's last grooming I asked a couple of questions namely about why it takes about 4 hours to have a grooming done on a small co-operative dog. I feel they make their appointments to suit themselves and then they leave the dog in a cage during much of that time. The owner says they are just enjoying their time with the dogs... I also asked why you can't even go inside to see their operation. I have never set foot through the door so have no idea of the organization or cleanliness of their shop. This policy was instituted during COVID but the owner says that's no longer the reason. She claims it is too noisy and would cause too much confusion. The owner took great offense to my questions and basically told me to take my business elsewhere.

"I'm extremely unsatisfied"

I'm extremely unsatisfied. I brought my Pom boy for service, they said it will take about 2 hours. But it took 3 hours 40 min instead. Because of that, my another, very important appointment has been canceled, cause I've been 1,5 hours late. The groomer said:- sorry, the dog has long hair, but I'm doing this for him 6 years already, same hair length, and it's never ever took more then 2 hours service. I understand, sometimes service may running late, but, YOU HAVE TO LET PEOPLE KNOW UP FRONT, THAT IS may take 3-4 hours. OR, AS SOON AS YOU NOTICE IT, THAT YOU RUNNING LATE OF REGULAR SCHEDULE, GIVE THEM A CALL.... BECAUSE PEOPLE HAVE LIFE AND PLANS. In overall, the service was done not good. The hair cut all over body, wasn't been even at all. So, the service was absolutely sacks, I'm never come back.

"We’ve been taking our toy poodle to…"

We’ve been taking our toy poodle to Yuppy Puppy since he was a puppy and never had anything but a beautifully groomed little boy returned to us. The girls do a fantastic job. We were travelling a lot last year and he needed grooming when we reached Caloundra. They didn’t do a great job, but I knew Jamiee and Angela would make it right once we arrived back home and they did.
I would highly recommend Yuppy Puppy.

"Excellent work, amazing talented ladies."

I have been taking my little Millie (Toy spoodle) to Jamie and Angela since her first groom, they are very professional and have always done an amazing job, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone to them, they are amazing. Very friendly and professional, if I could post a photo I would, as they do an amazing job, and my little girl loves going there, she is never scared or hesitant, they treat her like their own dogs. I have also taken my sons border collie there for grooming and undercoat thinning, once again an amazing job. Thanks ladies, you love your work and it really shows. I am very happy.

"This is the worst place to take your…"

This is the worst place to take your dog for a groom. We payed upfront for a simple trim and bath.We were told our dog would be ready by 4:00pm. When we showed up the dog had not been touched and had been sitting in her cage all day. Yuppy puppy proceded to tell us that our dog would not be ready till 5:00pm. After waiting half an hour past 5:00pm our dog came out completely shaved. COMPLETELY NAKED! Except for her tail hair. The employee who was shaving her was on the phone the entire process and not paying attention to anything. Not to mention the shave wasnt even complete! There are still tufts of hair splotched all over he poor body. This was the most despicable groomer I've ever been to. I DO NOT reccomend taking your animal to this establishment unless you want everything done wrong.

"reality"

Hi, I'm Brenton the 'daddy' of Ruby who Jaimee at YPCS has accused of neglect. The YPCS facebook site has a violin playing story of woe that requires some honesty and reality injected.
Ruby is a border collie with a thickish coat. She has been to YPCS 2 times previously to be groomed because of the matting. Nature takes care of this generally via moulting but, from a human perspective, a bit of grooming helps with aesthetics.
Both times the stylists were able to groom Ruby to our satisfaction, leaving her with 2 inches at least of her coat. The last time there Ruby was quite matted, far worse than the recent visit, as she had just come back from 12 days at a coastal Streaky Bay farm. 12 days of sea, sand and paddocks. We reinforced that we didn't want Ruby shorn like a sheep and the stylists delivered.
I'm sure it takes considerable time, skill and patience to groom her, and the charge indicates this.
I took Ruby in last Wed as per the booking. A quite view indicated there were already several dogs there plus one on the workbench.
Angela came thru the counter gate to take Ruby and felt under Ruby, stating there was some matting there. Not as much as the last visit was the quick but useless debate. Might need to go a bit shorter they said. At no stage, contrary to their fabricated commentry, did they point out another dog and say Ruby would look like that. (Obviously as we don't want her shorn). A bit shorter meant a bit shorter to last time, as they know we don't want her with a buzz cut all over.
Jaimee txt me at 11.40 to pick Ruby up as they were closing at midday (not mentioned at booking nor drop off). I was shocked when I saw how short Ruby was. Jaimee was on the phone out the back and not involved. Ruby was very happy to see me and get away from being caged and the humiliation of being shorn like a sheep. Once home whilst giving Ruby a comforting cuddle I noticed 2 bruises/burns on the inside of her lower tummy that weren't there prior.
Once my wife got home and saw how Ruby was shorn and then the bruises, she was naturally angry.
On reflection, Ruby attended YPCS in a similar but not worse condition of matting where they successfully groomed her out. Given the number of dogs already there, plus Ruby and any other dogs that turned up, plus the stylists desire to shut down at midday, one could conclude they were rushed and took the quick and simple way out by shearing Ruby instead of groomin her (bruises incl).

Think about it - a hairdresser could reduce a full head of human hair to a buzz cut in 30 seconds. A shearer can shear 8-13 sheep per hour. Angela most probably only needed 3 minutes to shear Ruby. Say 10 minutes tops with a few sprays of perfume. Done. At acharge of>$120 that equates to me being ripped at $>720 per hour.

Ruby, due to being born with hip displacement, has been at the same vet clinic all her life and is there on a quarterly basis. No vet has ever mentioned, been concerned or queried Ruby's conditioning, coat or found any skin problems. Ruby is checked daily for prickles, grass seeds etc. Another fabricated accusation from Jaimee/Angela

If you look closely at the (unauthorised) photo Jaimee has placed on her facebook of Ruby being shorn, the clump in the middle is actually the 'fleece' from the shearing at the top of her body folding over her side. A double layer. Her actual fur is as per her shoulder region of the photo.

Why did Jaimee feel the need to take the photo and why when my wife rang her and introduced herself, did Jaimee get immediately defensive and aggressive. Why did she assume the call was going to be negative rather than a congratulatory one for a job well done? Guilt?
After many calls/txts, mainly late at night demanding Vicki's poor review be taken down and (hollow) threats of legal action, Vicki did so. The quid pro quo was that Jaimee would take down her garbage about us from her facebook page. Jaimee has reneged on that undertaking. Take my vet's positive appraisal people!

13 years of amazing loving care of our gorgeous labradoodle Jaimee has been grooming Mischa since she first came into our family as a 8 week old puppy. Could only speak so highly of the work and care and affection and attention given to Mischa. Would never even dream of her going elsewhere. Every 6 weeks we say. Going to see Jaimee, going to the parlor and jer tail starts wagging with excitement. Keep up the great work Jaimee and Angela. Xxx
