"back to skiing "

Just returned from 1st skiing trip at end of Jan, since knee replacement in July 2024. Over the moon that I can continue with my favourite sport , this is due in part to the excellent post op physio from Julia, she devised a series of simple exercise routines to get the new knee on track, always happy to answer questions and offer excellent advice, she was very encouraging and it felt great to know I was making positive progress. Would recommend without hesitation- well done.

Post Op Home Physio is in my opinion the best form of physio you can have after a total knee replacement. The physio comes to your home, so no stressing about how you’re going to get to the physio. Mark has been exceptional, his care and attention to my surgery is second to none. He pushes me and I have been grateful for his manipulation to the knee and the exercises I was given to do. In my opinion a top physiotherapist with a charming persona and likes to get the job done.

Julia worked with my wife Lilian once a week for 5 weeks at our home after her total knee replacement operation, from which she discharged herself from hospital early! Julia showed a sympathetic understanding of what was needed, and introduced Lilian to a progression of effective exercises to be used during the healing process. Julia was encouraging and gentle in her approach, and gained Lilian’s confidence. We would recommend Julia for support and guidance following knee surgery

"I had a complete left hip replacement…"

I had a complete left hip replacement but then hurt the knee on the same leg and it was agony to walk. Mark from home physio targeted my treatment to a series of manageable exercises so that very soon I was able to walk with less pain. My leg is now a lot stronger and I am able to walk pain free on crutches within a few weeks and I am aiming to be able to walk fairly normally with perhaps the aid of a Stick. Like all physio you need to persevere with the treatment and make it part of your lifestyle. I was beginning to despair of ever walking normally again.
