The 5-7 days promised for shipping does not, for some obtuse reason, include weekends. Because I did not understand that, my monogramed gift is sitting outside in the MN snow while the family vacations in Hawaii.

I recently spent a lot of time trying to hunt down the perfect gift for my oldest niece's newborn baby -- Makaboo to the rescue! I wanted something unique that could be easily personalized. I was able to find her some very nice receiving blankets and a wonderful blanket for her crib. I was actually surprised by the wide range of items you can purchase on the site. After my son got a gift from Makaboo as a newborn, I have bought several new baby gifts and they have always been well received. When one friend had an issue with putting said gift in the washing machine (the same one I got and never had an issue with), I mentioned it to Makaboo customer service and they immediately sent an engraved replacement for free. It was so nice to work with such a great company - there were no questions asked - a replacement was immediately sent. This is how I hope all the companies I buy from online will respond, but we know it's not always the case!
