After the first meals tonight (Laska and Bazhe) we’re very impressed. Great taste, great portion size, everything organic, looks and tastes freshly made, veg that has the right texture!.....Unlike other ready meals.

"Amazing, planet-friendly and healthy organic meals"

I recently started ordering SKIM meals. Dishes are hand-made using ONLY organic ingredients, unlike other frozen meal companies specialising on plant-based meals out there.

After doing a bit of research I discovered that SKIM is the only plant-based meals company whose practices are good for the planet and which support sustainable farming practices. Not sure what's the point of promoting plant-based food, if you don't opt for ingredients that are farmed and transported in ways that do no harm our planet.

The packaging is fully recyclable and compostable which is a big bonus for me as I am trying to reduce my waste (other companies use plastic films and non-compostable trays), and they donate a part of their profit to a plastic cleanup initiative.

I love having Skim meals in my freezer and knowing I can have a yummy veggie meal on evenings when I don't have time to cook. The aubergine lasagna was my absolute favourite so far.

A heads-up that these meals seem to retain their flavour better when heated up in a microwave, although oven is fine too.

Highly recommended to anyone trying to eat healthy organic food without breaking the bank or spending much time in the kitchen.

sometimes its difficult to feel like cooking after a long working day and I’ll order a takeaway knowing is not the best for my health... so I started looking up for better alternatives and it’s first time ever I can enjoy eating something that I haven’t cooked myself, knowing that the ingredients are healthy and natural because they are organic without harmful stuff. "Great concept BUT …"

Love the organic concept but I found all the meals I ordered bland. Also they were “mushy” after heating. Which was disappointing.

Some reviews mention soups, salads, even a chicken curry?! As far as I’m aware SKIM only do vegan, organic, frozen meals.

I may order again in the future if the meals are “adjusted”, but for now I’ll stick with Mindful Chef.

So nice to find a company that uses all organic ingredients. As far as I’m aware it’s the only ready meal delivery company doing this. Great selection of veggie/vegan meals and the ones I have tried so far have all been delicious. Also to note is that they use healthy cooking oils, whole salt, no refined sugar, paper packaging and they support with recycling plastic waste. Big thumbs up! What is not to like!

"An amazing service which delivers beautifully cooked meals with a soul to your doorstep."

I and my partner have been desperate for an organic meal service like Skim for years now and after trying our first set of freshly prepared meals (we ordered a mix of veggie and meat options) we are beyond delighted! Meals arrived in compostable packaging (bonus points for that) on a Wednesday, having been cooked on Tuesday evening. Instructions on how to heat up the meals are provided on each box, and there is a detailed break-down of ingredients and nutritional value found on the accompanying label as well.

As someone who opts for organic whenever possible and cares about the impact of farming on our planet, I found the philosophy behind Skim, including the care with which the ingredients are chosen, really inspiring. Meals were not only delicious and nourishing (the generously portioned pumpkin soup is to die for!), but also very soulful.

Highly recommended to anyone who cares not only about the taste and healthiness of their meals but also sustainability.
