"Lovely overview of Rome"

The guides did a great job. They knew a lot of ancient Rome and could answer our questions with ease.
The tour was about 12km in total. We biked across the city and got a lovely overview of the highlights of Rome. The bikes were great. And it is very nice to look through the 3D-viewer to see what once was.

"Too long and stressful"

We had a couple of issues with this tour. First, over 50% of the bike ride is on Rome’s city streets. And anyone that has driven or ridden on those streets knows how difficult it is. Second, the tour was too long (over 4 hours). It would have been more enjoyable to just see the aqueducts and the Appian way. All the other sites were just filling time. Finally, the tour ends on the Appian way which is a difficult terrain to traverse on bike. Not only is it cobblestones but when you encounter very large stones you are forced onto narrow dirt paths. Unless you are a proficient bike rider this is very difficult - especially at the end of a four hour tour.


Your reply is deceiving and insulting. We spent over 50% of the tour on streets - not the 15 minutes you suggest. And I’m aware that the description says 4 hours; my comment was that it didn’t need to be that long to see the aqueducts and Appian way. And we are experienced bikers in reasonably good shape; but the paths we were brought on were difficult even for experienced riders.

So much fun! Our tour guide was great, super informative and knowledgeable. It was as the perfect first night tour to get an overview of the city.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our day on the bikes. Filippo V, our guide, was very knowledgeable and also had a great sense of humour. There were a couple of people on our tour who unfortunately could not finish due to health issues, and Filippo dealt with everything with patience and kindness. If you are considering this tour, please consider any health issues that you have as it is a very long ride - 27km. Issues that you have can affect the rest of the group.

We did this tour for the second time and also this time it was a great and interesting tour with Fillippo as a very competent and observant guide who made sure everybody felt safe and confident during the whole tour.

It was an enjoyable tour although we had a few unfortunate incidents that out of the control of our guide Filippov. Our 4 hr tour turned into 5 1/2 hr but Filippov remained calm and ensured the safety of the group at all times. One of the issues was a problem with the bike so would suggest better maintenance on these hire bikes.

"A unique and fun side to Rome"

We learned so much while having a wonderful time seeing a different part of Rome. The eBikes were great and an easy way to get around. Highly recommend this tour.

"Highly recommended early-morning tour"

Patient and accommodating staff, good e-bikes, interesting and safe route, and fascinating information from our guide (the VR viewer really helped give additional insight into the sites, too). First time using e-bikes for us all (11-65 years old) but once we got the hang of them, they were awesome. Thanks for a great experience, Karla and Irene!
