"Incredibly Frustrated"
I have been a member of Betterphoto for 20 years. I have been unable to adequately use the site since January 2025 when they began their "upgrade" . Unable to upload photos and unable to view my most reccent photos. I have emailed "customer service" five times with no reply. The only phoe number I have for them rings busy. So frustrated - I pay for my membership.

No reminder was ever sent to renew. Yes! I did check the SPAM box and there was nothing there as well. This has happened to me 2 years in a row.

"UPDATED review from March 2025"
When the site works, it works very well—when it doesn't, it can be frustrating! BetterPhoto has worked hard to implement many changes to improve the site and its function. I hope things continue to improve.
Update 29 April 2025: Shortly after providing a 3-star review in March this year, I was contacted by BetterPhoto to reconsider my review since they considered the site's issues at that time to be something out of their control and assured me they were "actively" working to restore and upgrade the site. Since then, nothing has been done that is useful to all of its members. Many still do not have operating galleries or even access. Email to support does not receive a reply. Facebook posts do not receive a response. The owner has even changed his last name for some reason. I had been a member of this page for about 15 years, but it seems BetterPhoto has disappeared into a rabbit hole. The owner published a YouTube video about three weeks ago, saying everything is fine and the site will be great when it's complete, but there has been no follow-up since. Meanwhile, nothing works, no contest, no communication, nothing. I will be sorry to lose contact with fellow photographers from the page, but I'm seriously just DONE with the aggravation!

My website is still not active, over a week since my payment was confirmed.
As a loyal customer who has been with Betterphoto since it's inception, I'm disappointed with service this year, especially in light of the price.
