I needed a digger last minute, phoned Jordan and his team at 4:30pm on a Friday, digger was on my driveway at 5:10pm, can’t get better service in my opinion. Prices are fair, machines are in great condition.

"Disappointing and poor service."

I had a garden project where I required a mini digger and mini dumper. I wanted to give my business to a local company, so I contacted J Park Plant Hire and requested the plant. All was agreed, booked and paid for including £200 deposit 10 days prior to the date of delivery.
I had booked the contract staff for the weekend to carry out the required works. On Thursday (the day before delivery) I was contacted by J Park Plant Hire to advise that they were unable to deliver the equipment as an existing client still required this! When I explained that was not my problem it was theirs to sort out I was given two alternatives – refund or book next week, as I explained that what guarantee could they give me for the plant to arrive next week if they couldn’t get it for me when it was originally booked.
I then spent from 13:00 – 18:00 on the phone chasing hire companies who could deliver the next day to avoid me paying abortive costs to already booked contractors. I had to pay an additional £100 (£50 each way) for delivery as I had to get the plant from Hastings.
I have subsequently been in contact with J Park Plant Hire, they stated “we tried cross hiring from other companies to accommodate your hire but we had no joy on this occasion. I’m not sure what else you would expect from us”………..how about what I did, spend time to get the plant you promised and were paid for………………………..
