I was contacted by NW and introduced to the managed “Alpha fund”
I appreciate trading is risky and the fund hit my account stop loss of 30 % within three months, this in itself wasn’t the problem. It was that I was told there would be three or four carefully selected trades a day with max risk per trade of 0.25 to 1%.
On some days over 70 trades placed with risk of 15% on one instrument and the trader was just adding more positions on already losing trades.
Risk was high, with stops 10 times the profit target. On the day I hit my account stop loss, I lost 20 % of my funds. This was a stop on the account overall and not the trade stop, the total risk for the day was over 30%, which anyone who trades knows this is far too high, you could lose your account in 3 trades with this amount of risk.
As the fund was doing poorly NW added the signals to the account which are a separate paid for service, these signals still lost on my account despite showing as winners on the analysonlieuk website results page.
NW was kind enough to offer me the signals for a short period as well as trying to get me to sign up to a couple of other schemes.
I didn’t follow the signals but recently thought I’d go through the Whats App signals and compare the results I would have got to the results page on the website. I had 4 months of signals October, November December and January.
This is something I do on any investment before I trade my own money.
Turned out the results I would have had had I followed the signals didn’t match the published results, October I showed a loss of -£300, website says + £191.
November results were half of published results and December was also less.
I emailed NW to query the results and the mild mannered NW we all know and love very quickly changed, immediately said he would stop sending the signals and we should part company. After a couple of emails he thought perhaps his PA had removed me from the signals at the weekly check of customers and then perhaps he had re-added me when he realised, but he didn’t really remember this happening and there were no weeks without signals.
So I then asked for the signal list that should have been sent out so I could see where I missed the trades. He refused as he said “what makes you so special” that I would send the proper results out, he said he could but he didn’t want to.
I was nothing but polite and just wanting to know if I should follow the signals but NW became very defensive with a bit of an attitude. I could tell by his tone he was already preparing for my review as he said if I tried to contact him to verify the results again it would constitute harassment.
This is an honest and accurate review, I invested with NW probably 8 to 10 years ago with Ayondo (lost money) He is a persuasive soft seller but you can never really get facts.
I would have expected a more professional response, I just asked why my signal results didn’t match his. A professional businessman would of said ‘no problem we will look at it and see what has gone wrong’, but the response was ‘I’m going to block you, if you contact me it will be harassment’.

Even your opening statement is a lie, you have not been to busy to respond for 4 years, you already did respond but i had trust pilot remove it as it was false. I will contact trust pilot to confirm this so I can share.

1 you did contact me , i know that and you know that.I remember clearly you told me you had spare time as you didn't want to trade in the markets at that time .
you had me on file when you signed me up to another scheme (Ayondo) lost money.

2 yes i could of carried on trading, but id seen the crazy risk you were putting on one trade , 25 % of the entire account. why would i let you trade for me ?

3 you told me on the phone , 3 or 4 trades at a time.
even in your response you say 1% per trade , not 25%.

4 You and i both know i didn't make any trades of my own, all yours .
The trading records would show that, so a matter of fact.

I subscribe to the Analyst Online signals service and have found the signals provided by Nilan to be excellent. Nilan is hard-working and thorough and does his best to ensure we make a profit. I will be renewing my subscription.
