My opal pendant arrived very quickly and I enjoy wearing it. The stones look like real opals but I wish I understood better what a ‘created’ opal, is and how it is made. Not inexpensive as a replacement for an opal pendant which I lost, but very beautiful and often admired.

I had been looking for an engagement ring for my now fiancé in many shops and online and came across one I thought would be perfect on Laurelle Antiques website. I was a little cautious about purchasing an expensive ring online without seeing it and that Laurelle don’t have a store, but the help and assurance I received was very good. I ended up purchasing the ring and it was shipped first class. The ring, although needing resizing, was perfect and my fiancé loves it. Only slight downside was that the ring was advertised as being Victorian circa 1900, on taking it to a local jewellers they looked at it and said it wasn’t and that it was from circa 1980, they said that the marking was slightly different to what Laurelle has thought. This wasn’t a problem to me and my fiancé said she wouldn’t change the ring as it is perfect but it was the only reason I wouldn’t quite give 5 stars
