We were well advised by Gechnology prior to installation. There was no hard sell, just the facts. The install was done quickly and professionally, by the same person who advised on what we could expect from the system. There was some minor snagging, but this was sorted quickly and efficiently. The system we had installed is performing well, in fact better than our expectations. Quite happy to recommend Gechnology to anyone thinking of having solar panels installed.

Having found my solar system was not working and previous companies I had paid for maintenance had gone bust! I tried Gechnology and was very reassured when I first phoned them to arrange a visit. Luke came the next day and sorted out the problem quickly and efficiently. Unlike all the cowboys in the market who are only trying to get your money, he told me truthfully what my situation was. I now have every confidence with this company and will continue using them in the future. I fully recommend them.

My inverter on my solar system failed, and I contacted Luke based on reviews. Luke was quick to get back to me, spent time looking at the whole system, and ensuring that I had various options with a range of cost implications. The discussion was professional, and advice honest. Quotes for different options arrived soon after, and there was absolutely no pressure to get the more expensive replacement at all.

Luke also identified the many faults in the original installation, pointing out poor and dangerous installation issues (yes, it was during the FIT rush and I was sold by a cowboy outfit!), including exposed wires. The installation was challenging because of issues with my circuit board, and Luke was able to source and install an additional circuit board for the solar system, which stopped it tripping my electrics. The export meter was replaced as the previous one hadn't been installed properly. All this took numerous visits, and much more work than was anticipated.

The system is up and running, I have a web-based monitoring system, and the work was done professionally. Everything was left clean, and I was extremely pleased with the work. Luke was an absolute pleasure to talk to, a mine of information, and even helped me with advice about some plumbing issues.

This company is responsive, well-organised and efficient. Luke really knows what he is talking about and the new solar panel system was designed to suit our needs, rather than being one that we were compelled or coerced into buying off-the-peg. The whole installation process was thoroughly professional, with clear communication about what exactly was going to happen when and why. The solar panels were installed exactly when planned and the whole installation was carried out in two days. One major attraction of using this firm is that nothing is subcontracted, something worth considering with firms that offer to do the whole installation in one day — what does this say of their quality assurance processes, one wonders?
The actual installation was carried out in a very methodical, neat, courteous and professional way that impressed the visitors we happened to have on the first day of installation. Would strongly recommend to anyone considering installing solar panels or indeed upgrading their systems.

"Just what I needed"

I previously had a solar panels installed by another company which stopped working. I found Gechnology online and seen they were linked to the same manufacturer of my solar panels. I called them to see if they could help me.

They sent an engineer round to me, who diagnosed the problem and then presented me with a quotation for repair. I was disappointed that the previous installers did not install my system correctly causing this fault.

Luke carried out the repair work for my system and I can not recommend him enough! Very polite, considerate and careful with his work.

"Professional, honest and very different"

I have recently had Gechnology Solar install solar panels on my home. For anybody who has looked into solar panels they may share the same view with me that it can be very confusing. I chose Gechnology due to their kWh guarantee, which none of the other companies offered. The process after I placed my order was smooth with great communications. I knew where I stood every step of the way, which for me is very important. The installers were on time and spent 2 days installing my system which I was a little sceptical about at first as many other companies said on their visits it would only take a day. Never less I am so pleased with the install, at the time when their representative explained the benefits of SolarEdge I was a little confused. Now after putting my trust into their expert knowledge, I can see that this system is really great. It shows me how much energy I am generating, exporting and buying in from the grid, very advanced. I can't wait for the upcoming Hot Water integration. I recommend to anybody thinking of installing solar panels have these guys out as they really know their stuff.
