"Great value, great service"

Ordered Remy Martin brandy, with two glasses in personalised wooden gift box, as a Xmas gift. It arrived very quickly, I was kept updated well about progress of my order. Some sellers were offering the brandy alone for only a little less than I paid for the brandy, two glasses and a presentation box which was personalised so I felt this represented extremely good value for money, too. This was my first order from Beerhunter - and because of the price I was sceptical, thinking it looked too good to be true. But while the wooden box isn't what you would call a very high quality luxury item, it is perfect for my needs and is going to make a perfect gift. Very pleased with price, very pleased with service.

Bought a selection of German beers for my visiting German relatives, who although they like to sample UK beers, always revert to German beers after 2 or 3 pints. My cousin stated "This is the best beer I've had all weekend!!". Delivery was prompt and breakage free.

"Delivery issues"

I’m sure the beer is fine but I’ve not started drinking it yet. My issue is with the delivery. I specified a “safe space” for it to be left in my absence which was an enclosed porch. This would have meant it was out of sight to passers-by and also would have sheltered it in the event that it was raining. When I got home I found the box in full view to anyone passing on the doorstep OUTSIDE the porch. Luckily it didn’t rain until later but I could have come home to a soggy mess of cardboard and some bottles of beer or, should anyone passing by thought to help themselves, to nothing at all. What is the point of specifying a safe space for delivered goods to be left if the instructions are ignored? I realise that this is not necessarily your problem but the courier’s but if you are trusting them to deliver your goods to your customers then you need to know when their standards come up short.
