"It was a great experience"

It was a great experience. My only note is to add extra day “ time “ to the training to give the trainee the time to apsorve and understand the marerial well. As two days with the exam in the same day is too much.

And agian thank you very much and hope to see you in further certificates.

I would personally would like to Thank SMME Institute, and their instructor Mr. Stuart Bonner for useful and concised ITIL class; which had helped me understand and pass my exam in the first attempt.

I agree the duration of the course has been reduced as compared to previous versions but I can honestly say that both the Institute and the Instructor are well equipped to tackle this head on.

Will always recommend this place to anyone, and look forward to do future courses as well with them.

"Training was inadequate"

Training was inadequate in terms of material, concepts, situations and even the sample questions. While PMP questions became more trickier & the training didn't caughtup. Overall after 4 days of training 1 month of study using given material found it to be no where near that could help to solve exam questions.

"Project Management Professional…"

Project Management Professional training has been compromised very well and only focused on most important parts that matters on exam. I have simply took notes on the documents provided by SMG and took 4-5 online exams without reading the Pmbook or Rita.

If you have a bit experience on project management, SMG's training would be enough to pass the exam in the first try, with a 2-3 weeks of practice session after the course.

"Honest Review"

During my career I've attended many training for different topics, held by different entities at different places and in different countries, so I can honestly say IF you're in for the ACTUAL knowledge, then you're in the right place, their instructor (Patrick Derde) was a top notch, an exceptional experienced professional who has done it all, there's no question he couldn't answer, no detail he didn't share, he would go far & beyond to explain (the material is really dry and very abstract), his clear English accent is also something worth mentioning.

I certainly would recommend him for anyone who is looking to get better understanding about Enterprise Architecture.

I have given 4/5 review not because of the quality of the training but
1- Parking in the area is an annoyance
2- The classroom was well equipped and sizable, but the chairs were uncomfortable for the long sessions (we were informed that they'll be changing them for the next course, so you might not need to worry about this part)
3- They're a bit on the pricier side, but for the training quality they provide, it is understood.

"TOGAF course"

The TOGAF course I attended is, to be honest, a bit dry and drawn out. But the vast experience, knowledge and Practical approach of the instructor, Peter, made it an excellent course. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and colleagues. I am giving it a star less on account of the environment - the room was too cold at times!

My PMP course at SMG was a fun learning experience with a great facilitator, and awesome staff. The course and material emphasized on the areas most covered in the exam while using real life exercises. I obtained my PMP one month after attending the course, and will definitely consider SMG for other courses and certifications.
