"Socks are way too big but yarn is great"

I have previously bought the merino wool and British wool, both of which were lovely. I prefer the merino wool because it is completely non-scratchy and the British wool feels like it has some spinning oil on it.
However, my only issue came when I bought the size 4-7 hiking socks. I’m a size 7D (uk) and these are the right length but have too much fabric around the heel and sole. The only people i can see the socks working well for are size 7 with wide feet - I think everyone else would struggle with the fit. But, I do wear these socks daily (with boots) because they’re the only wool socks I own and there haven’t been any holes yet (only a bit of pilling) and the fabric isn’t scratchy at all.

It is soft, knits up beautifully, it drapes nicely and I am keen to try their wool for autumn.

Unfortunately I wasn’t happy with this company. The merino wool I ordered was too scratchy to use. When trying to return the items there wasn’t any return details on the invoice nor in the confirmation email I received. I had to hunt online for the details. You then have to email the company which took two days for a response. I was then told I wasn’t allowed to return the items as you have 2 weeks from the purchase date to contact them. This is a ridiculously short amount of time as you have to wait for it to be delivered which isn’t 1st class. So I’ve wasted £52 on items I cannot use. I contacted Customer service who were totally unhelpful as well.

Always kept informed on progress of order, delivery is prompt and items very well packaged. This Company is excellent at answering queries and questions about the product and it’s application eg type of knitting and suitability. Very friendly too. The yarns are true to colour as advertised. I would recommend.
