A friend recommended grassbarbers after completing some gardening and small landscapingwork in there garden. From our previous poor experiences of service reliability and workmanship with others we though we would give them a try. All I can say is that from the initial visit by the Grassbarbers owner Rumunas to price for the work and his team starting and completing all on time and to the agreed price we are extremely happy. The care and quality of workmanship was very impressive. The team that arrived where on time very attentive to detail and you could tell they enjoyed what they do the garden was left clear

Is very polite and knowledgable and put her at ease. I am happy because a happy wife gives me a happy life. We would definetly recommend them, They where not the cheapest, but averagely priced however for what was achieved the service, quality and care we this was great value for our money spent as they say you pay for what you get!

Gardeners turned up today on time and did an amazingly great and efficient job to clear out my small but overgrown garden. Answered my questions patiently and wasted no time in getting the work done. I like the availability of booking a slot online and fees are transparent for all to see. The automated emails are a bit robotic but provides an ongoing update. Very satisfied customer and will definitely be calling them back again!

"Terrible Service and Shortchanged me!"
I booked a four hour session with grass barbers. They arrived over 1 hour late and still left at the original time - short changing me by over an hour! Their work was terrible - I asked for a bush to be removed so they cut all the leaves off and left a dead looking stick. Other than that I don’t know what they did - the garden does not look as though anyone came at all.
It is not possible to call this company at all - they hide behind email and an automated message. And they don’t even bother to respond to emails.
Absolute waste of money. What crooks!

This is an experienced company employing knowledgeable and expert gardeners.They are happy to get on with the job or to work to specific instructions.Team work is a strength so that the garden looked great very quickly.The rubbish was cleared efficiently.Very satisfied indeed.

I would give a negative rating if I could. I suspect that the good reviews on their website are fake or from friends.This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.They have no understanding of customer service. They would have stolen my money if I hadn’t paid by PayPal and escalated the problem by raising a dispute. Once they get your money you won’t get any response whatsoever from them.
I booked online and paid upfront as the company insists on payment in advance about a month before my garden clearance.I received an email from them cancelling the appointment a day before the job citing ‘technical problems’.
I was informed to contact them to arrange another appointment. I was unhappy as I had arranged the day off work weeks in advance as my job demands this to oversee the job. There were no weather issues so I wondered what the technical problem was.After sending multiple emails and making several phone calls requesting for them to rearrange the appointment I had no response from them.I decided to contact PayPal one and a half months after my payment because I was at risk of losing my money.
After escalating the problem with PayPal, I miraculously received an email within 30minutes of my dispute escalation from the manager of Grass Barbers saying that they had been busy and not been able to answer calls or respond to emails. Really? For one and a half months by a company that only takes email bookings?
He tried to play smart but dumb by offering 30% discount on the next 2 specific days after my escalation when the weather forecast had predicted very heavy rain all day as was the case. They obviously had the intention of cancelling or not turning up on the day because of bad weather. All gardeners check the weather forecast days in advance before a job so they would have been aware of this. When I pointed this out to the manager and also the fact that the company only takes email bookings so they would have read my emails requesting another appointment.
Below is the response I got from him after one and a half months of poor customer service.

There was no attempt to arrange anything although bad weather had been forecast. Fortunately I have now received a refund from PayPal. Thank God I used this method of payment.
Advise for anyone wanting to book with this company ,think twice. Don’t be fooled by what I suspect are fake good reviews on their website. They are very unprofessional. There’s no one to talk to as all calls go to voicemail and they will not respond to your emails or call back. Save yourself the hassle and book with someone else.
However if you decide to UNWISELY book with them then don’t pay upfront . If you do, then only pay using PayPal or a credit card if it’s above £100 because they will get your money back if things go wrong.
