"Good quality duck food"

I purchased a sack of Brambles Swan and duck food. Really good quality food, that actually float on the water, unlike some of the cheaper brands I've bought from the supermarket in the past

"Great Value and Next Day Delivery"

Ordered a bird feeder and seed from Soar Mill Seeds. The bird feeder was half the price of other online retailers. My order arrived well packaged the next working day. Great communication with email updates every step of the way. Thank you for a great shopping experience.

"Best bird food from Soar Mill and Food For Birds"

We have just received more quality food for our birds from Soar Mill Seeds. There are 2 ways of buying top quality seeds from this company - firstly from Soar Mill or Food for birds, I find both parts of the company to be really good.
Their prices are really good and the deliveries really prompt.
This delivery was 20k of scatter mix for our pigeons, which they really go through fast and are always hanging around for more
The quality of their sunflower hearts is bakery quality and they are eaten quickly
The fat granules pellets that our birds really like are the berries flavours and tend to be favourite most of the year.
And finally the chopped peanuts are really enjoyed.
That is the main foods that we give our birds and the quality is always up the highest standards and really liked + the prices are good
So Soar Mill Seeds and Food for Birds gets my vote

"Appalling service when item was damaged"

Nest box was damaged and when contacted to ask for a replacement my elderly parents were asked to provide photographic evidence. I said this was not possible due to no digital access as I live 6 hours away and I was then asked if a neighbour could do it! Disgraceful customer service especially to the elderly who have no digital accessibility.

"Both first and second orders were wrong…"

Both first and second orders were wrong ,suet pellets missing but suet balls sent , whole coconut suet feeder missing but half sent instead. Have contacted this company a few times but have yet to have an apology or explanation. Bird food is good , not the best but good but the customer service is terrible

some really good chopped peanut and other top quality bird foods at a very good price .
I find the quality of products supplied really good and have recommended them to friends+ the company is very reliable when it comes to delivery.

"The best service ever!"

Like many people I love feeding the birds and other wildlife who visit my garden. The service that I continually receive from Soar Mill Seeds ensures that I can do this with absolute confidence that I will get high quality food, high quality customer service, and very fast delivery. Not only that but Lou has helped me source bespoke products for my garden visitors. Soar Mill Seeds are definitely big enough to cope and small enough to care.

Order arrived 8 days later, it was also incorrect.

The sent me the wrong bird feeder, the delivery was late yet the website/communication is somehow even worse.

The website is temperamental at best, the “chat” amazingly so. They have a contact, chat feature where in theory like other websites you can talk to a member of staff quickly and efficiently working out any questions or issues. However theirs is anything but that, you are encouraged to send a message and they’ll get back to you as soon as they can. This translates to the next day, yes you will receive one reply per day. Work out for yourself just how long a standard short conversation, question or issue will take.

Also it appears to be pot luck who’s chat message history you will get on any given day. One day I logged on to check the customary days reply only to be confronted with a conversation between them and someone called “Buzz”. Another day and another different conversation from someone else. Not only is this on some Carry On Film level efficiency it’s also more so seriously worrying. Some of the conversation contained personal contact information and addresses.

I’m still stuck with the incorrect bird feeder, given the speed of reply’s however I might have it sorted come Christmas time.
