"I had a rather late booking for Alaska…"

I had a rather late booking for Alaska and was told I was too late to book for 2022 even with almost 4 months advance notice. I called Entree and Gwen gave my clients the perfect trip to Alaska.
Her efficiency and her confident manner impressed me every step of the process.
I cannot thank Gwen and Entree Destinations enough for the wonderful work they do and look forward to working with them again.

"Amazing Alaska Trip"

I would highly recommend Jennifer and Team to prepare your dream vacation. We told her what we were interested in and everything was planned perfectly.
Their attention to detail was above and beyond from the hotels, the car service, the tours. Absolutely nailed each aspect of our trip.
Thank you so much for an amazing trip, with memories that will last a lifetime.

"Amazing Alaska"

This was a fabulous trip. We are 2 couples who are friends forever. This was a 14 day Alaska trip designed for us based on our wishes. Gwen did an amazing job with all of the logistics. The lodging, excursions and everything like clockwork. We went on big and small planes, helicopters, trains, and a rental car. A perfect trip.

"Unfortunate "failed trip" in their words"

I am a mother of a 14yo. Since the time of my divorce, my daughter and I have traveled to 30+ countries on 6 continents. I am the owner of a professional services business, 10+ years with 27+ employees, and sit on the board of two non-profits.Our next adventure was to the Arctic. A friend in the travel industry put me in touch with Entree Destinations. The objective of my trip was to see narwhal (my daughter wanted to see polar bear). After receiving the recommended itinerary, I emailed "I think I'm missing something - this seems too late for narwhals? My understanding is those are in the floe ice and need to be seen in June." They responded, "Not at all - narwhal migrate through the Northwest Passage past Arctic Watch in August… The narwhal… will be around Somerset Island (where Arctic Watch is located) in July and August." They went on to say, "We suggest to add a helicopter day (optional) because it’s a great way to see the narwhals." Upon arriving at Arctic Watch, two separate guides said seeing narwhal, would be "highly unlikely," saying the time of year to see them is June and there would be none nearby. I brought this and some very negative experiences I had at the outfit to the attention of Entrée Destinations, while I was still in the Arctic. Examples of some of the experiences include that the outfit placed my 14yo daughter in a separate tent from me, without my choosing or asking. When I brought it up in writing to the owner of Entrée Destinations, his comment was "anyone would have been happy with that choice," not recognizing that where my minor slept should have been my choice, not a strangers. I also brought up that only one of the 20 guides talked to me. Entree Destinations explained that Dave, the guide, was assigned to me, and that I should have been happy about that because he's great! Mind you, Dave was very good. But the other guests were not assigned a guide, and instead had access to all 20 guides. Entree Destinations was made aware of this, as they are the ones who communicated that to me in writing after my return. Things culminated with an issue over the timing of the helicopter, which we had paid for back in January, but which didn't happen (but did for the other guests) due to severity in weather. This was at the tail end of day 6 of our 7 days there. I had a brief conversation with one of the owners that triggered something in me. I skipped dinner, contacted my doctor, and sent a note to Entree Destinations and to the outfit. The note concluded, "The lack of respect, genuine openness to seeing me, and honoring me as worthy of direct communication and conversation - versus assumptions or directives - is heartbreaking for me. There isn’t another word for how I am feeling right now.” The only action take was an email sent to me on my last full day there saying Entree Destinations was "monitoring the situation." The CEO and President sent me 12+ emails after that, in several of which he called me "aggressive" (I question if that word would have been the choice had I been a man?). After I shared my experience again and requested a 30% refund as fair recompense, along with an apology, the CEO and President admitted, "Your email below is definitely fair... Please know, from the bottom of my heart, that I am truly sorry for my role (which was central) in this failed trip for you. ...I need to reflect and see what I could have done differently, before your trip and once we had begun communicating. I’m also sorry for some of my tone, I was upset and needed to keep my cool." Yes, they admitted they had not kept their cool toward me - despite a "failed trip" and having 100% of my payment. Entree Destinations continued to email me, at first saying "the Webers [the outfit] and I agree with your request [for a refund and apology]" but that never happened. I received additional emails, one saying "the facts are, I said I was willing to step in and help make things right," but still no action. I have since asked what their ideas are to make it right? “I am all ears,” I replied. I have heard nothing.
The trip was CAD$45,000, including tips fully paid 6 months in advance 90% of it by wire.
While I went through what I described as a heartbreaking experience, and they acknowledged a need to repair the situation, they did not follow through on our agreed recompense and refund for what they, in their words, called "this failed trip for you." It was a complete failure, but one from which they handsomely profited.
I cannot in good faith recommend Entree Destinations.

"Fabulous time in Vancouver and Whistler"

Entrée Canada was wonderful to work with for this trip. Nina and Fiona were excellent, from the trip planning to the final documents, everything went so smoothly. My clients had a fabulous time, with some great adventures, in Vancouver and Whistler.

These were new clients to me, their previous agent retired during Covid, and we certainly 'wowed' them with our first experience working together. Thank you Entrée Canada and your team! I look forward to working with you again!
