"What a waste of woke time"

What a waste of time, 4 of us visited Calke Abbey it cost £26.00 to walk round a mud pit just to get in the grounds. The house was closed so we stopped for a bite to eat, the food was awful and very overpriced.
We considered joining NT but decided other organisations deserve our support more than this WOKE set up.

"Fascinating behind the scenes tour of Calke Abbey"

Although the house at Calke Abbey is closed until spring, we enjoyed a tour which took us behind the scenes and caught a glimpse of parts of the house that we otherwise would not have seen. ‘Calke Unlocked’ would appeal to anyone who is interested to know what’s behind the doors that are usually sealed. Our guides were full of amazing secrets and happy to share them with us!

"Unpleasant experience when visiting the NT shop in Boscastle"

Horrible experience when visiting the NT shop in Boscastle last week. Entry was blocked to visitors by staff. I asked if the shop was open; the staff confirmed it was and let us in. A couple of other visitors followed. The staff proceeded to follow us around the shop. My sister-in-law and I had the intention of buying Christmas cards and presents whilst there but we walked out due to the unpleasant atmosphere. The dark and uninviting café was closed.

I would like to thank all staff and volunteers at Godolphin house, gardens and tea room. They are amazing . Friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful.It's our favourite National Trust Venue and a special place dear to our hearts. Also a lovely tea room with great coffee

"Our boundary backs on to National Trust…"

Our boundary backs on to National Trust land. They have ash trees which are falling all on to our fences because they have ash dieback, The National Trust are not carrying out their duty of care by removing these trees as they originally agreed to do, The trees are dead and will keep falling but they do nothing. These trees are dangerous

Sort the website out for booking Christmas lights . Who knows how much I’ve just paid . Spent over half an hour messing about then for your website crashing soon as I press pay. A lot of hassle to see a few lightbulbs in a garden ! Joke of a greedy organisation.

well done national mistrust, another farm turned into extremely expensive holiday let , Selworthy farm in west somerset!!!
surely this is NOT how you keep the countryside way of life going!

"I tried to cancel my membership after…"

I tried to cancel my membership after they renewed it without my consent. Once I realised this they are insisting I have to stay til the end of the year, there is zero customer service, their resolutions teams’ approach is to tell me to pay up or they will cancel my cards but the payment will soon be due. What a horrid, nasty organisation.

I will not be back at a National Trust property again. The National Trust is woke, has overpriced member fees and poor customer service.
