"Cheapest & Friendliest"

Applied for a guarantor loan with this company as it was the cheapest one around. Spoke with a lovely lady who was more than happy to help me with my questions and queries. Would highly recommend as I felt they really did help me with getting what I needed!

"waste of time, wouldn’t bother"

Myself and my guarantor spent 30 minutes each on the phone, was told had passed affordability checks, asked for guarantors bank details and my card details and then sent me an email saying my application had been declined. What a waste of time. How can they say one minute everything is ok and then the next refuse, wouldn’t recommend them, try someone else.

"Ignoring complaints and SAR request"

as per the below reviews they are a shady company. God forbid you or your guarantor fall into financial difficulty because this company does not care. Called my guarantors parents and threatened them with legal action but their SON was my guarantor. Not responded to the SAR request within the one month deadline and have ignored 3 emails I have sent chasing. You get an automatic reply saying we will respond within 24 hours. I can assure you they do not as I am on week 4 and 3 chaser emails down the line.

Update THEY HAVE STATED THEY ARE EXEMPT FROM THE DSAR REQUEST AS THE INFORMATION IS BEING USED TO SUPPORT A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM. Just to clarify they are withholding MY PERSONAL DATA from ME. Must have a lot to hide... I am not going away and the ICO and the FCA are involved.

"Told all was fine then declined!!"

I applied with 1+1 who I have to say we’re pleasant to talk with. I was applying to consolidate debt so my monthly payments would make me financially better off. I went through income/expenditure and was told all was okay. My guarantor was contacted and then was told all is okay. I received an email this morning to say I’ve been rejected with no explanation! What a total waste of time. They asked me to verify card details so my loan could be paid out which I did. Then told today unsuccessful. Very misleading company I would stay away.

I'm a guarantor for a friend. We've both fallen into financial difficulties. I've repeatedly tried to set up a temporary payment plan with them, but they refuse and start threatening me with legal action. All I need is a couple of months until I'm back on my feet with my business. I paid up on time for several months prior to this, so I thought they would be more understanding.

Do not bother with this company. They approve your loan and tell you that it will be funded within next couple of hours then you get a text message saying that your guarantor hasn’t been approved. Use Amigo Loans instead because they know what they are doing.

Will you stop fu*king emailing me saying my application is erase to submit. I’ve never applied for a loan. Now fu*k off or I’ll do some serious damage to your company. Pri*ks
