"AVOID AT ALL COSTS"

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Freight Quote used to be a workable solution for LTL shipping for small businesses shipping the occasional shipment. If you are not shipping with them every day of the week now they have downgraded their service. It is now impossible to reach anyone if you have a problem. They just close down at 4 PM Pacific Coast Time. If there is any problem at the end of the day - when there usually is a problem if there is going to be one with a pick-up - If you are on the West Coast you are f--ked.

"AVOID"

AVOID. They take zero responsibility for jobs they book and take payment for.
Used them to book a shipment from WA to MA. They paired me with Estes. Estes only delivered 3 of the 4 pallets I shipped. Estes claims they are unable to deliver the last because they don't have the equipment. Why are they accepting jobs if they can't do the job?
Estes has tried to pile on additional charges and Freightquote claims they have no power over this. And they claim that "Booking on our website does not guarantee the shipment will be delivered." WTAF? What is their purpose if they don't take any responsibility?
Avoid this sham company and Estes as well.

"Shipment Issues and Poor Customer Service"

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the handling of my recent shipment and the inadequate customer service I have experienced.

On January 15, 2025, I scheduled a shipment through Freightquote.com, which was picked up from the warehouse on January 16. Unfortunately, due to the carrier's inability to deliver the pallet to the originally designated location on time, I promptly contacted your customer service team to update the delivery address.

On Friday, January 17, I informed your customer service team about the issue. I was told that Freightquote.com needed to contact the carrier to obtain a quote for the address change. On Monday morning, I followed up again and was informed that I would receive a response within 24 to 48 hours. However, as of today, January 28, I have yet to receive any communication or resolution from your team.

This is entirely unacceptable, and it is not the first time I have encountered such issues with your services. Your customer service team has consistently failed to address problems in a timely and professional manner. They repeatedly delay responses and seem unable to escalate matters to the appropriate departments.

The lack of communication and accountability is alarming, especially when dealing with time-sensitive shipments. Your company's failure to deliver shipments as promised and the unresponsiveness of your customer service team severely undermines trust in your services.

I demand a thorough explanation of the delays and inaction regarding my case, as well as a resolution to the issue. Additionally, I request that you review your internal processes to ensure that no other customers experience such frustration in the future.

Please respond to this email within 5 business days with a detailed resolution plan. Failure to address this matter appropriately will leave me with no choice but to escalate the issue further.

"I am constantly receiving a payment to…"

I am constantly receiving a payment to my credit card for a pick up that was never picked up and Im tired of trying to get to bottom of it.I recieved the wrong motor the company wanted me to buy a new motor and pay a deposit on the return of the old motor which I still have because it was never picked up nor was my original payment returned.

"Delayed Charges"

Where to begin. The last couple of years it has been a struggle to communicate with any customer service or accounting agent. They delay communication and a week later the start a new email with a different person and I have to start the dialog all over again. They bill you several month's later for "additional fees" that are owed. Example I had a shipment delivered in September 2024. They emailed December 27th 2024. I am still trying to communicate with them as of today.

"I have been using freight quote for…"

I have been using freight quote for awhile now. The customer service is horrible. They and their vendors miss pickup times. Don't call the pick up location to let anyone know. Customers just sitting around at the pickup location. Then when calling their customer service line it just push back and how it is not their problem. Then why go through them to make them money..... This has happened so many times and has caused a ton of product damage.

"This is just ridiculous"

This is just ridiculous! My account was blocked for cost calculation, and in order to unlock it, I had to pay a small amount for the adjusted delivery fee. We paid the required amount, but after that, the problems started. I tried to contact you several times (about 5-7 times) through chat, then called several more times — and each time I was transferred from one person to another, with no one knowing what to do.

I don't care what is happening inside your company. I made more than 10 requests to unlock my account and provided all the payment proofs, yet the issue is still unresolved. Instead of helping, you keep promising to contact the accounting department, but nothing happens.

Now I’m leaving this review because I can’t tolerate such treatment of customers. Very disappointed with your company!

"Watch for bill adjustments, then more adjustments. "

They are not transparent with their billing. Both time I used this company they had adjustments to my bill after it was delivered. I was quoted around 600 and in the end it cost me 850 dollars. I filed a dispute and it took over a month for them to give me an answer, and they did not take time to respond to all the different changes in my case. Do not use. Not trustworthy.

"Bait and switch pricing"

I have used this company for shipping our freight for years. However, in the last 3 months, they have been adding extra charges weeks after the freight has been delivered on every single order we ship. We have decided to discontinue doing business with a company that practices these dishonest business practices. They provide one quote and then charge a different amount, claiming that our business locations are actually residences or detention centers, and adding extra fees. I strongly advise against using this company! If you're looking for a freight broker, I recommend exploring other options as there are plenty available.
