"Two weekend intense tiling course"

Just finished a two consecutive weekend intensive tiling course with Gwyn at CBWA. I’ve never tiled before, and was in a mixed ability group. Now I feel like I can redo a whole bathroom on my own. This was great and well worth the money and time.

Recently completed one weeks intensive training on MIG welding with the principal tutor Chris. Firstly thankyou and wow what an eye opener not as easy as it looks. Chris was patient funny and honest with unbelievable knowledge. Whole experience from backroom staff to Chris brilliant simply brilliant and I’ll be back

"Great Learning Experience "

Second occassion here at CBWA.
Last year, did a week Intensive Carpentry with Pete. Learnt so much I wanted to quit my daytime job and become a carpenter straight away. He was a laugh, great bloke and explained everything with demonstrations too.

This year, I did the 2 weeks NOCN Kitchen Fitting course.
1 week intensive fitting a Kitchen Units and worktop with John. Such a funny guy, and explained everything so well and did demonstrations. Any questions were answered and feedbacks provided for what was done.
2nd week were plastering with another John who explained and and demonstrated, followed by Plumbing with Richard in connecting different pipes and compression.
Finishing off with Tiling with Gwyn who was very knowledgeable, not only in tiling but with other Trade work such as Plastering, and also in life skills and History!!! 😂 Had a great laugh and banter and Gwyn works so hard cleaning and helping with everything whilst we are getting on with Tiling.

Overall, I have had a great experience in this building over the 2 years and it’s the people that work there that make it a great learning experience for you.

Not forgetting the girls at reception with very polite manner in person and over the phone! Very friendly approach.

Well done CBWA! May see you next year on another course. But don’t forget my accreditation please!

This is the second time I have used CBWA and I have say there are excellent. This time I done a 1 week plastering course (not a complete novice) John was a very good knowledgeable instructor. Great bunch of lads on the course as well. I feel empowered to plaster my house thanks Paul M (KRO)

Hi I have completed a nocn kitchen fitting course including plastering, plumbing and tilling in 2 weeks which meet our tilling tutor gwyn who welcoming and helping person.
Quite enjoyed my time here with teachers and with boys here.

Good week in which I learnt the basics of plumbing in a radiator and bathroom with all pipework and fitings. Very hands on and practical. I should have done this course 40 years ago.
Easy access to venue off motorway network.
Friendly and professional staff.
