horrible customer service! I have been with oanda for many years Their customer service has taken a HORRIBLE turn for the worst. I have referred over 50 people and Ive asked for my referal credits only to have zero emails replied to. Terry Finn promised me Id get them then he left. I have reached out to other relationship managers trying to get a response and literally NOT 1 Person bothers responding. Even asking questions about getting a new referal help with his account.. Why should I send ANYONE there anymore! Ever Since Nick left its taken a horrible turn for the worst!I Have emailed Sven Erik multiple times and no reply either. Relationship managers never respond period. With referring million dollar accts I will work towards moving them out of Oanda.

Jan-29-2025 Update:
Out of frustration I asked them to escalate the issue, their customer service called me and explained to me about what was going, finally I was able to withdraw funds without paying for the wire transfer. It was a happy end :-). The restrictions on the funds withdrawals were to avoid unauthorized transactions, but I understood it when their level 2 support explained to me and helped in withdrawing funds.

They charge withdrawal fees if you want to close the account. And you can not withdraw in one shot, the allowances are in thousands and in then in few hundreds. So you might end up paying hundreds of dollars in wire transfer fees to OANDA. I am in process of closing my account and they are not letting me transfer my funds to either my original bank account or to the my new bank account. I had some ~ $6k in my account, think if someone had hundreds thousands it would be impossible to close the account or you would end up paying few thousands in wire transfer fees.
