"Disappointing"
I absolutely love Yumi clothing as I think the designs are fabulous. I have purchased Yumi clothes from different retailers before, but this was my first experience purchasing from them directly. I bought a beautiful green dress in the sale - the last one in my size! Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was clearly an unchecked return. The item packaging was sloppily torn open (clearly by a previous customer) and when I took the dress out to look at it, I noticed pulls, a sticky mark on the front of the dress and a stain on the label of the collar. Given it's condition, I questioned whether or not someone had bought the dress, worn it with the tags on, then sent it back. It was very disappointing to receive the dress, which was otherwise beautiful, in this condition.
I immediately contacted Yumi and, realising the dress I had was the last one available, I requested a partial refund. I really did love the dress, but I wasn't happy to pay for a 'new' item that clearly wasn't new.
Yumi got back to me, apologized and then offered a full refund, so long as I returned the dress. I explained that I would've preferred to keep the dress for a discounted rate, rather than be wasteful by sending it back where it would likely be destroyed (or sold on in its current condition to another unwitting customer). I was then offered £10 store credit. Unfortunately, this turned out to be rather insulting, seeing as Yumi currently stocks over 1,000 items, only 5 of which are within the £10 threshold (a few belts and gloves in the sale). Not only that, but if I were to use the store credit, I would still have to pay an additional charge for delivery (£3.95+). So it seems as though the 'credit' was more like a ploy to get me to spend more money.
Ultimately, I was disappointed with the condition of the dress and disappointed with the resolution offers. In the end I opted to return the dress for a full refund. I was sad to send it back, as I now have to shop around again for a special occasion dress. I have also noticed that since I returned the dress, it is now showing as 'in stock' again on the Yumi website. Perhaps it is just coincidence, but I have a funny feeling that the 'in stock' dress is the same sloppy dress I returned.

Quick delivery, easy return policy (although, didn't require it) size chart is accurate and the items are really lovely quality and sustainable. Will be looking at Yumi for future purchases, love the fact that they are a UK company too.
