31st May 2022. Still no assistance in obtaining information regarding mailing of package with cables that should have been sent with cctv system for audio. Today keep receiving text messages saying parcel sent via Fastway shipping. Parcel has not arrived. Can't obtain information from which Fastway depot collected parcel. to contact where is parcel 22nd May 2022-Nightmare👎 Customer Service being no Customer Service at all. Legally Disabled customer Purchased home CCTV camera system from Sales rep at CCTV-Direct.ie.
Installed system and it was hacked all settings changed and monitored without owners permission or knowledge. I did not authorize or sales rep or anyone else at this shotty business to access my personal CCTV at my residence. The system was tampered with on numerous occasions. Now it has a login page for ADMIN and I do not have the information.
On one occasion contacted within first few weeks CCTV-Direct to change 1 camera to a camera with audio. The camera was mailed and the color camera was returned as customer had agreed to do so.
I called 3 times in the past 2 weeks and was told to "F--K O--", this evening. They do not return phone calls either. I simply need answer on how to login to set CCTV cameras active. I live in an area where I am a legally disabled man and that is why I purchased CCTV-direct for security referred by local area resident. Staff at CCTV-direct.ie have now placed me in harm's way being I cannot record or use system paid for in full. They have been nothing but failures in responding to query about accessing settings but they took my money very quickly. I will say and no customer service of any kind. Disgraceful and I would not recommend this business to anyone.
23rd May 2022 Received phone call from unidentified male first thing this morning Monday at 9:51am. "What is that review" I asked "what"? reply "what is that review"? I asked again what and who is this" The man replied again "what is that review "and this is"-------". I asked "can you read"?
Reply received was "your in trouble now." You'll here from my Solicitor and then phone hang up.
Had filed request for assistance via CCTV-Direct website yesterday. Had spoken with sales rep numerous times and was threatened with a 10,000 Euro fine for not having him install the system and he was not liable for anything related to the CCTV-Direct system.
Have had nothing but threats and abused verbally on phone whenever CCTV-Direct were contacted since 15th August 2020. Within three years as warranty states.
23rd May 2022 Received phone call from Technician apologizing for the lack of service and he would deal with it today. Received call from technician approximately 4:15pm and could not answer as I was attending medical appointment with Doctor appointment.
Received text shortly later that I would be contacted at 6 pm. 6pm came and went. Then received text that he would call at 8pm. Received several text messages between 6-8pm that he would contact me at 8pm and I was to download an application to my cell phone with directions on how to do something I am not sure about as I am not a tech guy.
After several texts at texts I advised the man I was not a tech guy and did not know much about texting and felt like I was being bated and phishing was taking place. I informed the tech of that and advised him I had no faith in his repeated texts and I was available between 4-5pm tomorrow. Then the phone rang after I advised him I was not good at texting and wanted to talk on the phone. He continued to bate me and I informed him I was available between 4-5pm Tuesday 24th May and the call ended.
Very frustrating feeling as if being bated via text repeatedly. A simple resolution to the entire nightmare would have been to call and advise how to access settings while being instructed over the phone. Very uncomfortable, unprofessional feeling being felt as being bated to say or type a reply for him to claim defamation which I had been threatened with at 9:51am after review must have been posted.
What a traumatic experience dealing with such childish behavior when simply asking how to log into settings to adjust CCTV settings.
I hold no malice towards this man or company but I would not recommend anyone to be subjected to such a traumatic experience repeatedly whilst trying to resolve a simple technical issue with product purchased from vendor.
I will leave the interpretation of this review up to other consumers to judge this type of service for themselves prior to taking on such a nightmare. If disabled as I am it can be very traumatic dealing with such childish lack of customer assistance on a repeated basis.
Hoping issue resolved tomorrow the 24th of May, gladly post review of the dreaded experience I have been subjected to and if positive have no problem conveying that. If and when it occurs.

Second time using CCTV-DIRECT. Jonathan was fantastic, managed to install the home alarm system with short notice. Left the place cleaner than he found !!! Extremely professional and focuses on the small details. Highly recommend.
