I recently made a purchase from Exmoor Distillery and found the overall experience to be quite satisfactory. The website was straightforward, and after placing my order, I received a call to confirm it. The order arrived well-packaged the next day, which was great. I was also pleased there was no shipping charge for orders over £35. During a visit to the distillery, I enjoyed tasting their gin and spiced rum, and the staff was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It's worth a visit, although some might find the products a bit pricier. Overall, a good experience, but there's room for improvement.

"Exmoor Distillery Extremely Good"

I placed my first order with Exmoor Distillery and I have found the service I have receive extremely good. The website was very easy to use and I placed my order. I received a phone call a coupe of hours later asking me about my order and to tell me it would be packed and sent. An email came later on that day. The parcel had be sent and would be delivered the next day. It came the next day very well wrapped and in perfect condition. I thin k all parts of the order were perfect. The personal touch with someone ringing about my order. Then having it sent the same day and delivered the next day. I would Recommend to anyone very highly and will buy from again. many Thanks to all at Exmoor Distillery.

"Excellent tour and tasting"

Booked tour whilst on holiday. Met by Nicola, who led our tour. So nice to hear their process and passion for making gin, rum and vodka. Nicola explained the whole process in detail. Very friendly and only too happy to answer questions. Small family run business that produce extremely tasty and smooth gin, rum and vodka. Had a taste of them all, very smooth and full of flavour. Never tried botanical vodka until now, went down a treat 😁.
Came away with a few bottles, will look at ordering online too.
Would recommend a visit if you are ever in the area.

"A truly wonderful experience"

Whilst on holiday near Exmoor we were treated to a tour and tasting at Exmoor Distillery. From the moment we arrived and were warmly greeted by John I sensed we were in for a great time and I wasn’t disappointed.
We had an informative and fascinating tour of the distillery. It was heart warming to hear someone talk with such passion and enthusiasm about their craft. It was all of particular interest to me because of connections with my work and John was only too happy to answer my umpteen questions and observations.
Once we had learned about the processes behind the amazing gin, vodka and rum (made from scratch no less), we were introduced to the barrels the spirits were kept in to mature. Another fascinating discussion about the origins, uses for and effects each one had on the end product - again this was of particular interest to me.
When our tour ended we were invited to sample the wonderful products. Nicola was only too happy to introduce us to first the gins. I am a relative late comer to gin so could not call myself an expert. However, the aroma and flavour was an absolute joy as was the sipping. More gin followed both with entirely different personalities and profiles and equally as lovely. On to the vodka (yum) and then on the white and the spiced rum. Up until this moment I had tried white rum but never the spiced. Wow - it was amazing!
I don’t want to go on too much about the products because I want everyone to go and visit John and Nicola at Exmoor Distillery to share in the magical experience that we had. The whole experience was made even better as everything was excellent value.
It was impossible not to leave with a special treat. The biggest challenge faced was deciding which one (or two) to bring home.
If you are in the area or staying in one of the caravan sites hop on line and book a tour and I promise you a fantastic couple of hours.

Wow!! The best London dry Gin I’ve ever sampled. Decided whilst away we would visit the local Distillery and it didn’t disappoint. John the owner did the tour and was full of information and passionate about what he was producing. Would highly recommend visiting. Of course came home with a bottle.

Would also recommend the tour; it’s not sexy but it’s amazingly interesting even for a non scientist. The tasting may be better after a large brunch in Dunster or an extra tonic in your handbag if you’ve not got a strong head..but my husband is still raving about it.
