"Graceful interaction"
Spoke to the owner via phone call and she is very kind and thoughtful. I had an issue about a dress I purchased from her on eBay that I returned and I thought I was being scammed since I didn’t get a refund. But that was not the case at all. I learned that EBay has very strict rules on how items can be returned; therefore, I was not able to get a refund via EBAY. When I called the owner directly she gracefully heard me out and we were able to sort things out. I look forward to shopping in person at the store the next time I’m in England!

"Poor quality and poor service"
I have been deeply disappointed with the quality of a dress I bought from this company through Silk Fred. I wore it for 2 hours on Christmas Day, including a short walk along roads. The jersey of the dress is rubbed and severely damaged under the breast. I returned it explaining that clearly there is a quality problem with the fabric, but have been refused a refund. The note I received said that they believe I sat on something sharp. Funny when the rubbing is under the breast.
Quite clearly when an expensive dress is worn for 2 hours one should not expect it to be so damaged it is unwearable.
I wanted to warn others of the quality of the item and also the poor response in customer service I had.
The owners response says the damage is at the back - it is most certainly not. It was at the front under the breast. I find this owners response appalling which is why I chose to leave this review. And of course I cut the ribbon - I fully planned on keeping the dress, but was devastated by the appalling g quality of it
