Ordered Acer Timeline Laptop at around 4.00pm on Wednesday and goods arrived promptly next day.
Had to use telephone helpline twice due to problems with card payment (my fault not theirs) and staff where very helpful on both occassions. Did have to wait 10-15 minutes each time to get through though.
Very impressed with the machine for the money paid.

"Good service and value all round"
Ordered Aser Timeline 1810 TZ Tuesday afetrnoon, up and running 48 hours later. Slight niggle about delivery, the computer and the Microsoft Office software were sent by different carriers - it would have been nice to know that when the items were dispatched.
As cheap as Amazon, cheaper than PC World - the local branch didn't have any anyway.
So far very happy with the product.

After sending the first order back as it did not have a web cam i reordered another one i had to pay for delivery twice and collection once, when the new laptop arrived there was no internet secutity with it i had to phone the company yet again and placed on hold for what seemed for ever to be told it is in the post i am still waiting

"Right product, wrong delivery"
Next day delivery was ordered and paid for, but my additional products were only delivered the next day, without the laptop. When I called the telephone number to enquire what was happening, it appeared that they already had a note on the computer to say that my laptop had been sent from the warehouse directly to the offices, instead of directly to my address.
I was a little concerened that they had waited for me to call them before I was told this information and would have liked them to have made a call out to me seeing as they already had this information. I was told that the laptop would be delivered the following day and that my payment for next day delivery would be reversed.
I had to call the next day to find out what time the delivery would arrive, again a little surprised to find that their phone lines weren't open until 10am. The person I spoke with was very helpful and advised that they would take off the charge for the next day delivery on my account - something I thought had already been done the previous day... but never mind, this was done in the end!
The delivery arrived, as planned and I'm very happy with the product.. shame that the delivery mix up spoilt the experience.

Easy to use website, and extremely fast delivery, with good communication regarding status of order.
I ordered an 'open box' product, which according to the website means ex-display with 1 or less scratches/marks on the product. I was not exactly pleased when i opened the packaging.
The laptop I received looked almost second hand in a tatty, worn out box and the laptop was very dusty, dirty with many glue marks from old stickers. A couple of minutes spent cleaning the laptop with an alcohol wipe and an airduster had the laptop looking almost brand new. I feel this should have been done by simply acer considering I had just spent over £400 on this laptop.
I would have otherwise given 5 stars to simply acer, but I cannot help feeling that the laptop might have been second hand as it looked heavily used.

"Great Product - lousy service, brillant delivery."
Your SALES HOTLINE lady needs to experience some long term unemployment..pretty easy now-a-days. She was of no help whats-so-ever, for example she could have asked me "Am I upgrading?" And therefore mention a USB to USB transfer cable. And it was me not her who spotted there was no disk drive.
Good ordering on the website, and excellent delivery, right down to being told the hour in the day of delivery.
Acer could provide a little more info about upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7, I mean I did'nt know I would have to reinstall all my applications, (transferably in the past).
