"Amazing company to work for!"
I have been working for Alina Brighton since April and I love it. I never worked as carer before but the provide all the training and support needed. I feel like everybody is always ready to help in any circumstances and they make me feel part of a little nice family. I love this job and the company, can't reccomend this place enough.

"Professional"
Banbury Service:
Susan has been very helpful and professional when caring for my mother, this is the second time that she has been caring for her and her and her team have done an excellent job. They supported us in achieving a discharge form the care home that she was in and organised care straight from the hospital to her own home as well.
The carers have been amazing and have cared for mother and have build up a rapport with her in the short time that they have come for.

"Alina Homecare in Hemel Hempstead have been excellent"
Alina Homecare in Hemel Hempstead have been caring for my mother-in-law since December 2018 starting with just a few visits a week, however her condition has deteriorated fairly rapidly during the past six months and she now has a full package of care with several visits each day.
The carers have all been brilliant and as with any group of workers there are always individuals who are absolutely outstanding and this is no exception with Mum’s carers as there are one or two of her regular carers who are exceptionally good.
I have also found the management at Alina very good. They are readily available, either on the phone or in person, very easy to talk to and are open to consider whatever we, as a family, feel would be the best care for Mum. When needed, they have been able to change/increase her care package remarkably quickly which has made things run smoothly for us and knowing that the carers are there so often has taken a lot of pressure off the family. Yes, there may be the occasional change to staff or timing that upsets Mum but they are always ready to listen and try to solve any problems.
I would highly recommend the Hemel Hempstead branch of Alina Homecare to anyone needing home care for themselves or their loved ones in this area.

"Former customer at Hemel Hempstead branch"
Management is the main problem in this company because there's a lack of communication, compassion, empathy & understanding! Considering they're running a care company this is a huge problem. The management is very unprofessional & treat their staff & customers appallingly so the good carers leave & so do the customers eventually as it isn't always easy to find another care provider. Quite a few of their customers can't or won't speak out but I was given notice of termination for my care package because I mentioned in a customer questionnaire & head office I find the manager & operations manager unapproachable & asked who to speak to! I was portrayed as awkward & unreasonable but I don't think it's unreasonable to complain about being given food poisoning, having my safety compromised etc.

"Worst care company ever finchley site…"
Worst care company ever. Finchley site have no idea what a care company is. The manager is the pits and the carers
don't care. I have a relative who was hospitalised due to bad caring. Management haven't a clue how to manage and carers don't know the first thing about caring
Training is never on going. Disgusting .
This company must be closed quickly. They will defend this review but believe me they will lie as they always try to cover themselves .

"Not a nice company to work for in the…"
Not a nice company to work for in the slightest. No compassion or care felt in the slightest. My post was made redundant after two months. Was not given any notice at all and no chance to appeal as my end of employment letter was sent 10 days after I was sacked which stated I have 5 days to appeal which I wasn't given a chance to as my letter wasn't sent in time. No compassion or empathy was received in the slightest.
Policy and procedure was not followed. Two weeks prior to me being dismissed I was called into the office and told that my job had to be fought for-way to knock someone's confidence!! I was then sent an email to get tasks completed by a set date. A few days later after said tasks were completed I was then called into the office and asked for my phone and laptop to be handed back and dismissed on the spot. My contract clearly stated that I get no less than two weeks notice if my employment were to end which I DID NOT. My chance to appeal wasn't even valid as I was informed of this 10 days after my dissmissal so the time frame had already expired anyway had I wanted to appeal. Alina home care would have been given notice of this change at no point out if sincerety or care was I informed of any upcoming changes to my employment in order to give me a chance to even look elsewhere considering my contract was still probationary at this point. I wasn't even offered a chance to be tuped over along with everyone else even if it be as a carer. NOTHING. My dissmissal was done unethically and with lack of compassion and care. I wasn't even given the chance to work the rest of my week. My livelihood was taken on the spot followed by the most shabbiest of responses from my operations manager "Don't worry the care industry is always booming with jobs". That's what a person wants to hear when they have a family to take care of and has had to drive 13 miles from home to come and be told to hand your things in and leave. I'm an educated individual I understand that companies have to make redundancies at times. But I was clearly set up to fail and the way in which it was done was quite frankly disgusting. This is a CARE company. Show some sort of compassion for your employees!! This could have been handled more ethically and in line with my contract.

"Steer clear for your own good"
Been with company for three years. Finchley branch. In that time had about ten different carers. All inadequate. Their training is very bad. The carers do not care about the people they are caring for. They do the least amount possible and never clean up after themselves. There is never a check done on the carer and on going training is obviously non existent. Carer never wears gloves or uniform provided. Management do not care and pass the buck constantly . Having changed managers 4 times in two years sums up this apauling company.
