My immigration to the UK with my husband turned into a nightmare because of a fire and a name typo in a federal level database that caused us a great deal of trouble. He was even graciously willing to indulge my penchant for asking technical questions about the fine points of how these processes work; being able to demystify the machine is a major stress reducer but not everyone understands that or has patience with it. He and the staff have a great combination of competent professionalism and friendly supportiveness. I hope I don't have cause to need the services of a solicitor again, but if I do, I know where to go.
