Being dependent on my emotionally abusive spouse made normal life seem like an impossible dream. With Amethyst's help, I was able to recognize my own worth, and she gave me advice which strengthened me. I was able to leave and begin my journey towards independence, thanks to her compassionate and thoughtful counseling.

I had been assisting people with emotional regulation disorders to accomplish their personal and professional goals, but became burnt out after too many incidents of emotional downturn. Amethyst's guidance and advice helped me to better cope with those feelings, taking the behaviors less personally and remembering that they are trauma responses and aren't because I actually did anything wrong. With her help, I was able to get back to work with less emotional burden and more safety for myself and the people I help.
