I had an appointment with Maddy on the 10th of January 2025 at 15.00 for half-set classic eyelash extension which i booked via the Treatwell app. I was 20 minutes late due a severe fever the night before but I did apologise on arrival. When I arrived the salon was closed and I was told they could not do it anymore. When I came home I noted I was marked as No Show which triggered the Salon Protection security control in the app to charge me even though I chose to pay at the Venue option. This is the 2nd time I was scammed by this salon with these charges when they are the ones refusing service. I tried to claim my money back via the Treatwell app but the salon told them I have arrived 45 minutes late not 20 and that they gave me a gift card as a gestureof goodwill, a totally blatant lie, there are video cameras on Church Road which can be verified as you know to determine who is in the right. I have decided to report this place to Trading Standards, their lies,frequent nefarious practices and open scamming of people need to be investigated seriously, do not let them get away with it, truly unprofessional place and incompetent.
