"Deposit"

What went wrong
I arranged for a home visit to measure up my lounge and hallway the man said for both plus fitting £576.00 i agree to the price he asked were did i got there details from Facebook i said and that was that, i then go to shop left £300.00 of lino was given a receipt of money paid and balance left.
Around 3 days after i had to cancel due to ill health this is the best part never mentioned 30% came in to conversation yes cancelled fee ok not bad but 30% of the whole bill so i was only given back out of my money i payed was £129.00
Asked why he angry told me about the cancellation fee it was on there website of which he knew i never got information from.he did not mention cancel fee at my measuring home and my receipt never had cancelled fee
How can he keep so much money from my deposit
As a disabled customer iv lost out and not the company very disappointed with them so be warned about them

We received great service from this company from measuring the kitchen, to helping us choose the right flooring and the fitters finishing the job. They were all polite, helpful and attentive. The fitters worked quickly and took all our old lino away with them. We are very happy to recommend this company!

"Great option for Carpets in Banbury."

Very helpful and accomodating in the shop. Large range of mostly polypropylene carpets but also were able to provide competitively priced quality wool blend which we preferred. Had a choice of underlays (8mm free) but we had a particular requirement so we sourced our own no problem. Fitting of both underlay and carpet was done expertly and efficiently. Thanks
