We worked with VDB on a part single storey side, and part two storey rear extension. From the first meeting to discuss the project we were really impressed with their attention to detail and responsiveness. Our property is an Arts & Crafts cottage from 1925 so we wanted any extension to be sympathetic to the original period and Hendrik took time to understand the different elements that would be unique to this build and quoted accordingly. We found their price to be reasonable - not the cheapest but also not the most expensive, however definitely the most accurate which meant we stayed on budget. They project managed everything well and the project finished on time and to a high standard. When there were issues, they were quickly and collaboratively resolved. I would thoroughly recommend VDB Group if you're looking for a reliable, fairly priced and high quality build. If we need any more work in future we would definitely use them again.

"Great service - and prevented a disaster"

We used Vanderbuilt just before the builder's warranty expired on our new home. We found the service to be excellent. The process took about 4 hours for a 4 bedroom home and our surveyor came back with over 100 defects, helpfully indicated as advisory, caution and severe. Whilst the majority were quite minor, one severe defect would have cost us many thousands to fix if we had missed the warranty date, so thank you!

"House Survey"

The survey identified over 70 minor to some major problems in my house, which, I would not be able to identify myself. The Bellway fixed over 90% of these problems.

I am really grateful to Vanderbuilt for carrying so thorough survey and finding out all the issues, which could lead to more serious problems in the longer term.

Overall, the result was truly good value for money.

Contracted Hendrik and his team to completely pave my back garden in Farnborough and replace all of the fencing. A job well done. Punctual, precise and with a keen eye for detail the paving looks great and the fencing couldn't be any straighter. They left the are area clean and tidy, removing any trace that they'd been there. We'll be using them again for sure.
