"Ordered a pair of earrings and a key…"
Ordered a pair of earrings and a key ring online. Expected in store delivery in 3-6 working days. After 9 working days and no communication I emailed to enquire when order expected. Apparently ‘ lost’ and item now out of stock. Requested a refund, annoyingly endured a further delay by being asked if I’d like an alternative item. Will not order from or recommend this company again.

"Extortionate delivery costs"
I saw a small set of tables in one of their shops. It is not possible to buy from the shop, instead you have to place an order to be delivered. With the additional delivery cost it turns these overpriced items into extortionate items. Surely this is against some sort of consumer law. The prices advertised in store are impossible to get because you are levied with delivery charges.
I've asked online a few times via their online chat and seem to get the same customer representative called Leo. Leo does not seem concerned to miss out on a sale of a few hundred pounds because of the delivery charge, which implies Oliver Bonas are doing exceptionally well and won't be calling in the receivers anytime soon.

"Exceptional Customer Service!"
I received a set of champagne glasses as a present. I liked the set so much I bought the matching wine glasses. Before a dinner party I got all the glasses out to clean them before using them for the first time and noticed one of the champagne glasses was chipped. I contacted Oliver Bonas to get replacement glass and explained the person who gave these to me had lost the receipt. I was fully prepared to pay for a replacement item as desperately didn't want to be short one in the set of 4, especially now that I had the matching wine glasses. Oliver Bonas replaced the glass without charge, not even for shipping. If this wasn't enough it arrive the next day and in time for my party. I still cannot believe how this was handled and they beyond exceeded expectations. The customer service team were friendly, highly responsive and only too happy to help. They have got a customer for life.

"Charging a delivery charge for click … should be outlawed with immediate effect."
Charging a delivery charge for click and collect is outrageous,that is just plain greed .I recently contacted Oliver Bonas to complain about this. My daughter was given Olly B vouchers from her colleagues and used some of them to purchase a pair of earings at £19.50 and because the order was under £20,the charge levied was £3.95?The item now cost her £23.40
Olly do you really think that this charge is fair and reasonable? The customer service person politely tried to justify this hidden charge by explaining that this was not a delivery charge but was a sort of administration charge to cover costs of processing and packaging,as a necessary business need, if that is the case why then on your website at the very last stage of the transaction it advises if you spend another x amount you can have free "click and collect" delivered to store 3-5 days should it not read free process and packaging.I am not against Company's making profit, but I am disappointed that you have deceptively passed this cost on to your loyal customer Base,
As a business absorb this cost, have a bit of morality, the greed in this country really is too much ..Without prejudice

your Customer service persons also advised that you are not the only business to be doing this?Although, I am unaware of this with your competitors and if this is correct ,then a stop needs to be put this practice.
I feel so strongly about this that I will be taking this up with my MP.

"Hole-y Shirt by Oliver Bonas"
I purchased the Petal Print Shirt from the Oliver Bonas store located on Finchley Road in the O2 Centre. This was my first experience and foray with the company as a fresh off the plane Canadian. I was adequatly impressed with the clothes the the quality and left the store with three pieces of clothing and with an item in which I received a further discount because most of the buttons had fallen off. I am now writing this review because I have washed the Oliver Bonas Petal Print Shirt Multi three times and it has already begun to develop holes in the clothing item despite my careful washing and following of the washing and ironing instructions. I am wholly unimpressed with the quality of clothing being output by Oliver Bonas especially considering the cost of the items. The shirt I bought is originally priced at £49.50 and I bought it for £30 and it is ludicrious that I could have paid nearly 50 quid for something that I now will likley have to donate to charity or turn into a pajama shirt because it has small holes and rips in the fabric that are making the shirt unwearable. Sadly I am unable to return the clothing item, but I would hope that this raises some flags for the Oliver Bonas quality assurance team to ensure that their product aligns with the quality one expects when they pay the costs they are paying.
Update: After making several attempts to call the number and leaving messages and being called at odd times when I am away from my phone because I am working or once received a call while I was at the gym on the treadmill this issue has still yet to be resolved. An email address would be more efficient since their custoer service number results in you being made to leave a voicemail message because no one picks up.
FINAL UPDATE: After sending an email to the relevant Oliver Bonas customer service sector I received a prompt and helpful email response and was asked to choose a new shirt to be sent to be since the original shirt I bought was no longer avaialable in the size I originally purchased it in. The after customer care by the Oliver Bonas team was overall very well done and so I have moved my rating up to a 3-star and would rate the customer experience as being 5-star. They certainly are a team that will remedy issues once they are presented to them.

I have placed many orders with Oliver Bonas this month and have been thrilled with all my purchases. The customer service and delivery is excellent.
My only disappointment was that whilst a £12 bottle stopper arrived in a beautiful branded box, the £36 necklace arrived in a torn paper envelope.
Such a shame, makes the item seen unimportant. Please consider providing a box, it makes me now think twice about ordering jewellery from you. I have seen this comment before but as yet no change on the paper envelope.
