"Don’t honor their own promotions!!"

I have been a long time customer, I had credit from my previous purchase in November 2022 which was not completed. I needed some products and had also received a promotional email offering a 8% discount for orders placed on specific dates the end of February 2023. I called and placed my order. I was focused on getting the credit applied to my purchase and since I’m a regular long-standing customer and had received the unsolicited promotion email I assumed they would apply the email since my order qualified for the minimum purchase during the specified dates. Once I received my confirmation of purchase and payment I noticed that the 8% discount was not applied. This was only a day later and I had not even received any of the product, but when I told them about the email and even had to send them a screenshot of the email, they still refused to apply the discount, claiming that I should have told them about it at the time of purchase.
Very poor customer service, and not from the guy on the phone, this decision came down from management!! Very unfortunate, this is how you lose customers!! Their priority was made very clear, take the money and run, they didn’t even have the decency to honor their own promotion that they had directly emailed to me!!!
