"Five adults touring Scotland"

I was in a group of five adults looking to hire a motorhome to tour Scotland for a week.
I found that the vast majority of sites provided you with an initial price but then provided you with the option to add items that you clearly needed to your booking for an additional fee. That wasn't the case with Blue Duck Campers. We were quoted a price at the outset that included all the essentials (and to be fair all the luxuries) and the owner even allowed us three allocated drivers on the insurance. This meant that Blue Duck came in with a better price than any of the other comparable new motorhomes.
This was the first time any of my group had ever used a motorhome but we were given an abundance of guidance from the outset and everything was made incredibly easy for us.
In advance of the trip we'd worried about whether the costs of fuel in 2022 was going to bite us given the route we took but we were pleasantly surprised by the MPG we achieved.
We took off from the North West of England and headed up to Edinburgh. From there we headed to Dundee before travelling across country - over the stunning Caingorms National Park - to Inverness.
From Inverness we then headed down the West Coast stopping at Fort William, Oban and Dunoon.
If you're looking for a high end motorhome then this is it. It accommodated five adults with ease and we cant recommend highly enough. We had many people approach us on the sites we stayed on to compliment on the quality of the motorhome.

Matt is nothing but proffessional and very helpful, always available, before, during and after the hire.
Myself, my wife and our two 11 year old children were very comfortable and made the most of the van in our two week trip to cornwall.

Hired Huey for a couple of nights away at a local venue. I have never hired a motor home before and had no idea what to expect.
From start to finish Matt was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and he totally went out of his way and bent over backwards to make it a brilliant experience.
The motorhome was amazing - it contained everything we needed and more. The Covid friendly videos made the handover a breeze and they were really useful to refer back to.
I can't recommend Blue Duck Campers highly enough - a great experience from start to finish!

Hired Hughie the motorhome from Matt at Blue duck campers, from booking to collection and throughout the Journey Matt is available at all times. Also very helpful You tube videos regarding everything you need to know which was great can watch more than once,
Spotless clean all that you need is provided for the kitchen & the cooking all covid cleanliness put in place ie Fresh clean sheets, hand sanitizer, wipes etc.
Fantastic price !! we had an amazing journey touring around Devon and Cornwall would 100% recommend.

"First Time Hirers"

This was our first time hiring a motor home and Matt couldn’t have been more helpful. He explained the workings of it all and the YouTube tutorials and manual were extremely helpful. We collected the motor home when Matt said it was Covid safe after being left for 72 hours. He also provided a large bottle of hand sanitizer. Matt provided 2 kettles, one for gas cooker use and one electric which were brilliant as we weren’t hooked up to electric every night.

It was a comfortable and clean motor home for our trip to Scotland and Northumberland. We would definitely recommend hiring from Blue Duck Campers.

Matt was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to make sure our trip to Scotland went without any issues. He created you tube tutorials to show all of the things that you need to know to use the motor home. This was a lifesaver and meant that we didn't need to bother Matt while we were away! The motor home itself was lovely and had everything we would want. Because there were only 4 of us, we didn't have to change the dining table into a bed and were able to put the kids to bed on the 2 singles at the back of the van and we still had space to sit up without disturbing the kids. We'll definitely be booking with blue duck campers in the future!

"We couldn’t have asked for more"

We couldn’t have asked for more. 2 adults, 3 children (under 8) and a dog - we had an amazing time in the Lake District and the van felt like a home from home.

The Van - is brilliant. Excellently equipped. Plenty of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc. The fridge is enormous and the kitchen area more than adequate. It was our first time in a motor home and a combination or a great briefing from the owner, a handy manual and a modern van made everything really straight forward. Beds were comfy and actually lots of space for us all. There is good storage for clothing Etc and they provide a few dvds and games which is really thoughtful. Everything is in really good condition and the van is clearly well looked after.

Service - is exceptional. Nothing was too much bother for Matt and he provides an excellent van as well as brilliant service. The briefing was thorough, he helped load the van and he’s available if you have any problems.

All in all, we’d really highly recommend them! A wonderful and memorable week away.
